Great suction and powered beater bar for carpet. But it cant vac a carpeted bedroom 12 x 15 dia, without recharging and thats just the areas accessable. But not including under bed or dressers. Dyson could have provided a higher capacity battery for a little more. Note I would be really unhappy had I paid full price for this. Its not worth full price and debatable at the sale price. Its really a tile only machine. The High vac setting and beater motor running eats the battery faster than a starving dog eats steak.So Im returning it and will buy a powered beater head for my central vac system.

Dyson filter -- doesn't plug-up or clog. I've done my whole place, emptied the dyson machine 5 or 6 times, and 3-charges later -- haven't needed any specific "cleaning" of the filter, just lift lever to dump, and close it, and continue vacuuming.I tried the $150 ripoff brand, filter clogged quickly from normal carpet and no pets. returned it. Those ripoff brands focus on suction with crazy statistics and weird numbers.Ripoff brands don't tell you -- their filters need cleaning after doing maybe half the room. Then let dry for 24 Hours. Nobody has time for that.

Great little vacuum, light weight and charges quickly. It has two suction settings and I was quite surprised how much dirt it pulled out of the carpet. It made me wonder what my old vacuum was even doing. It’s great for dog hair, I have 3 long haired dogs and I LOVE that the hair doesn’t get wrapped around the brush. I can vacuum 2 full rooms before the battery dies. I wish the battery would last a little bit longer, but that would probably be my only complaint thus far. I absolutely love the cordless feature, and it’s quite easy to clean the dust bin. Overall, I’m very happy.

This is a NEW machine. Not a refurbished machine. It came in original packaging. It is in perfect condition. I have the Dyson V 11 vac as well. I like this one better because it’s lighter and easier to empty %26 works just as well. So I use it more often than the 11. I am using two because both of them have such a short run time that it takes both machines to do my 1000 square-foot condo. Only when set to its maximum mode is Dyson any better than a cheap vacuum which seriously diminishes runtime. The trigger needs to be held down all the time and not intermittently. That is a serious Dyson defect. Holding the machine handle is not user-friendly. Holding the trigger is not user-friendly.

I hate that they only have a 20 minute charge/run time because you can’t tell me that it’s not intentional they do it to get you to buy an extra battery or a more expensive vacuum as if they aren’t expensive enough. It is somewhat small, but it is great for small rooms and rugs. I bought it primarily to use for quick cleaning and using on stairways. Max mode seems as powerful as my full sized vacuum. Battery only lasts about 10-15 minutes on Max. There is something that prevents hair and fuzz from collecting on the beater brush. I find the trigger position uncomfortable. The weight of the motor rests on my thumb knuckle and almost rubs a blister. I also don’t like the way the canister empties. You pull up a small button/lever and the motor slides up out of the canister. The bottom of the canister flips open at the same time. The contents is then released. I find this cumbersome and hard to manage the debris field of dust and dirt.

I was skeptical based on the poor reviews but am glad I got this. I have a 3000 sq ft home with hard floors on the first flr and carpet on the second, and wanted something light to vacuum the stairs. This is perfect for my needs! It arrived (brand new, not used) with some charge in it already, so I tried it out. I used low suction on the hard floors and max on the stairs and some of my runner rugs downstairs. I was able to vacuum the stairs and most of my downstairs on the remaining charge. Suction on max is just like other dysons or shark vacuums. Low is fine for hard floors and mats but I wouldn’t recommend for carpet. Overall I’m very pleased and ordered a second one for my senior parents.
Love how lightweight and convenient this little vacuum is for touch ups here and there. This is not for cleaning an entire house at once, nor is the Max setting supposed to be used the entire time. The cyclones do a great job of keeping the filter cleaner for longer than other vacuums that lack the technology. Also love how it has a 2 year warranty, something you won’t get with LG or Samsung. Shark has a 5 year warranty, but it costs about $30 for a warranty repair and it doesn’t cover wearable parts (majority of the vacuum). Dyson’s warranty is free to use. If you have a problem, contact Dyson directly. Do not contact Walmart, they are not going to help, especially after the 30 day return window.
i bought this during the great covid quarantine of 2020. it was on sale/referbished n i got it i never saw any dyson vaccum on sale n ive wanted a cordless vaccum since i was injured in 2017 n couldnt lug around a regular corded vaccum. this vaccum changed my life n i actual enjoy vaccuming because its not heavy n easy to cleanout. it might not have tge same attachments as a regular bagless vaccum But your not having to find stuff in stores to replace stuff that ur corded vaccum needs. ive spent so much money on accessories rebuying vaccums to keep the corded vacuum running that i coulda bought 2 dyson vaccums at that point. also the dysons are quieter, sucks up stuff very well n hair doesnt get stuck i n nthe bottom of the brush all.the time. you still need to ...
