BEST FACE PRIMER I HAVE FOUND IN DECADES

I am a fair skinned black middle aged woman, with redness on my face and neck. I have tried numerous products, some much more expensive that didn't yield the results ELF does. I started out using this primer over five years ago. To be totally honest, its the only item when i go to the store that is usually completely sold out! Walmart, Meijer, Walgreens rarely has it. So I have to order online. IT WORKS. but you must be consistent. I use their other products to, and found i am not shiny, and it doesn't make you look like a clown. Heavy makeup days are over, this is a great buy, and for those who doubt, proof is me.

BEWARE OF THE PACKAGING

Bought this today and have been testing it out. it makes my skin looks oily and It didnt help any redness. it feels like any other primer I've used. The actual product is average at most.Now for the packaging... this is the reason I gave it 1 star instead of 2. The color on the outside of the package is NOT the product!!! It looks like it would thick, pigmented, and creamy.. But that's just plastic and the color isnt even the same. They tried to make it look like the fake color is an optical illusion inside of clear plastic. The actual product is a sheer, dark green gel. Great product!

I use this every morning after moisturing with No.7 brightening moisturizer, and I love it! One week in so far, and I'm sticking with this. This primer goes on so smooth and is silky soft and leaves my face feeling soft all day. It holds up through my 9-hour work day AND my post-work excerise (biking). It evens out my skintone, as promised. I have super red cheeks and a pale complexion, but this primer tones the cheeks ALL the way down and keeps them from reddening (even post-workout, which is impressive). I don't use foundation or concealer either. This primer does enough for me on its own (never been a fan of the all-over, poreless look of foundation). Super happy with it, and very impressed with this brand after using this product. Great product, wasteful packaging

Genuinely one of the best primers to help reduce rosacea flare-ups, but the packaging is terrible. The product is fairly thick, so the pump never works, but the opening to the bottle is too small to get the product out. For this reason alone I’ve stopped purchasing this primer. I just can’t afford to be throwing away so much product because there’s no way to easily get it out of the bottle. Please consider switching to more accessible packaging!

LOVE the hydrating primer!!!

I picked up the hydrating primer while looking for a little extra moisture under my foundation. This stuff is the terrific! It glides easily over your face. I would describe it as a gel cream. The feel is unique and wonderful. It really keeps makeup from settling in your lines. My foundation has amazing power when I use this primer under it. I have sensitive skin and it doesn't break me out at all. I can go all day with my foundation without any touch-ups. One little pump does my whole face. The bottle will last a while. Highly Recommend!!

My new daily primer

I found this primer while waiting for a prescription when I remembered that I was almost out of my expensive primer. I am very happy with it and plan to continue using it instead of any other. I actually look forward to putting it on because it is so silky smooth. It blurs the uneven areas, and foundation application is easier. The overall effect is smooth, even skin. I look forward to trying more e.l.f. products.

Works only OK but doesn't last all day

As a natural redhead, my skin is very sensitive to the sun and gets red quite easily, even after a few minutes of driving my face looks like a tomato. I had hoped that this primer would take care of this fault. But it doesn't work very well. I don't know if it is supposed to last for only a couple of hours or what since it doesn't say anything on the package, but by the end of the day, my face is still quite red!!! It's to the point where concerned co workers are asking me if I am allright because my face is so red!!! LOL!!!

save your money!

Bought this product one month ago and I do not like it in the slightest. Doesn't make my makeup stay. Is a weird texture, doesn't expel redness or make my skin glowy. It does not last and you get about a half a pinked worth of product! ON TOP OF ALL THIS I was finally at good place with my skin, it was clearing up and then i start using this and my skin breaks out worse than ever before! I had such high hopes. I was planning to purchase the power grip but now I'm worried it will break me out!

very disappointed

I picked up a couple of items from the open racks in cosmetics. As I was leaving that area I was stopped by the man at the register. He said I had to pay for those items there. I told him I would pay for them at the checkout when I was finished shopping. He began taking items out of my cart, some that were NOT from the cosmetic department and scanned them. I could not believe he did this. He was oriental and didn't speak English well. I was treated like a common criminal and I will not be shopping at this Wal-Mart any longer
