This is one of my go to primers. It’s works better than some more expensive brands. My skin is smooth like butter after using. I have large pores, it’s always been a huge insecurity for me. Nothing will literally make my pores smaller but this does actually help me lessen the appearance of them. It doesn’t take much of it to do the trick. Just use it on clean, hydrated skin, and apply makeup. My foundation and concealer set nicely with it. No caking or anything and unlike some primers, it doesn’t get sucked into pores throughout the day which can make your makeup look splotchy and even make pores MORE noticeable. Truly a great product with a great price tag too.

This product also states to apply to clean skin prior to application. I have used this product for four months and so far my experience with it has been pleasant. I have tried this product with a clean and prepped face, and also without a prepped face. I highly recommend preparing your face with a cleanser and moisturizing cream, and even a serum before using this product, this allows your primer to adhere to your face and sit comfortably, as well as fill in the lines as the primer states. for a while this was one of my favorite primers, but I feel like over the years the formula maybe change the tiny bit. What I really like about it is that it has a cold sensation when you apply it to your face, but after a while of using it so much, you kinda don’t feel that anymore, which is kind of sad. It would’ve been nice to feel that cold sensation every single time you put on your face and not have your skin just get used to it. I also had a tiny problems with breaking out a little bit and acne while using it, but I like it for a long time, but it just made my acne a little bad . Wow, Fantastic Product I bought this at Walmart, hoping to upgrade my foundation quality. I’ve always had extremely dry skin with very visible pores—meaning foundation has always made those features stand out immensely. I didn’t have high hopes for this product, as so many makeup products simply don’t work with dry skin. But this is seriously amazing. I put it on and it looked like I didn’t even have pores. It’s incredible. For those with dry skin like me I would recommend putting on moisturizer before this product, as it doesn’t moisturize your skin, just goes on top. But wow, I’ve always loved elf, but this truly blew me away. Fantastic job, I don’t feel like the odd one out who got left behind in the makeup game anymore.

BEWARE OF THE PACKAGING

Bought this today and have been testing it out. it makes my skin looks oily and It didnt help any redness. it feels like any other primer I've used. The actual product is average at most.Now for the packaging... this is the reason I gave it 1 star instead of 2. The color on the outside of the package is NOT the product!!! It looks like it would thick, pigmented, and creamy.. But that's just plastic and the color isnt even the same. They tried to make it look like the fake color is an optical illusion inside of clear plastic. The actual product is a sheer, dark green gel.
