This is a very good teleprompter. It's light weight, the image is very crisp and the app is very easy to work with. I'm a little concerned about the durability of he prompter (hard thing to balance with it being light weight). My main fault I see is I wish I could use the app/load scripts without having to be connected to the teleprompter. The cable that connects to your computer is USB-C toUSB-C, I wish it was USB-C on both ends. Overall these are minor things to me, though they would be nice to have. I would buy the prompter again

The Facecam MK.2 has thoroughly impressed me, especially as someone who already thought the OG version was great! Despite still being a 1080p60 camera like its predecessor, the MK.2 provides a superior quality, a better form factor with BUILT-IN privacy shutter, and even includes HDR?! Combined with the Camera Hub, the configuration options really allow you to dial in your look and feel. Highly recommend considering this webcam if you're in the market for a high-quality webcam at a reasonable price point.

This is a very good teleprompter. It's light weight, the image is very crisp and the app is very easy to work with. I'm a little concerned about the durability of he prompter (hard thing to balance with it being light weight). I received this about a month or so ago, and I have to say that compared to the other 2 webcams that I own(both Logitech) it has a better video quality. I think it is awesome that it is able to connect to my stream deckso that I can control it (both zoom and tilt). It makes it easier, especially giving a really go effect to my audience.The only reason I gave it one less star, is because while I was having a podcast with a friend of mine, there wasa really weird blue light flashing in her glasses, so people couldn't fully see her face. Otherwise, great webcam!

Less artifacts than competing cameras because of the uncompressed feed.The white balance is problematic in the same way as most other webcams:Auto white balance: it looks at the whole image, so the color of your shirt or background can confuse it and produce a reddish face.Manual white balance: you don't have access to the full internal controls used by the automatic white balance; so you can't ever get to the same point manually as the automatic system can go.The worst feature of this webcam is that it is very picky about cables and ports. The fixed focus is a great thing too so the camera isn’t trying to find the right point to focus on. 1080P 60 is the perfect resolution when you consider the camera view is shrunk down on streams but it maintains its fidelity. I'm a content creator and streamer and I've been using this webcam for over a year now and over the course of a year, I've grown to hate this webcam due to the fact that it jitters if you play any game basically. I've had to switch to my old webcam multiple times because the elgato facecam does not work on stream like 75% of the time. It also just breaks for no reason it feels like. I do think this webcam is great if you're just planning on using it for calls with friends but if you're looking to stream with it, i do not recommend.
In my initial review of this product I indicated the inability to connect and work with MacOS. Since then, Elgato tech support has updated the CameraHub app to v1.9.1 which fixes the issues. The Prompter is now working like a charm. ONE last tip for those reading this still having an issue with the Mac recognizing the Prompter: Make sure to turn on the Prompter button in the DisplayLink app. SEE the attached screenshot.
This camera might be the one you need! I personally love this camera and soon as I put it to work I could so many details in my face. Blemishes, freckles mustache hairs, just everything was super crisp and I would say with some good settings you may not need a DSLR camera. The one issue I ran into, was flicker with some of my background lighting only on HDR settings. I was able to fix that but turning the brightness down on those lights. This camera is amazing
