I bought this as soon as the email came in saying they had more stock. As soon as it arrived I was so happy with the quality. However, this was shjortly lived purely because it stopped working 4 weeks later. A flashing red light comes on and now nothing happens.

The Facecam Pro is a HUGE leap for webcams, in fact, it feels like it's in a whole class of its own. The output of this camera, and the amount of control you have over it, is insane. If you're in the Elgato ecosystem, you can control all of the settings with your Stream Deck (or SD+). Forget complicated camera setups, this powerhouse of a webcam can do it all with a single cable.

I’ve been waiting for this to come back in stock for a couple of months now, and I’ve got to say it was worth the wait. The camera is amazing. I would also recommend the Facecam but if you was thinking of upgrading to the FCP do it, it’s worth it 100% I would also also recommend attaching it to an Elgato mount as it’s slightly heavier that the Facecam. I use a solid arm mount attached to the key light air and it’s perfect.

So I'm a long-time content creator and for the past several years I've used a mirrorless camera for all my content. I wanted to build a crafting setup that was a bit more plug and play rather than having to shop for lenses and adjust a million settings before I can use the camera. Well the Facecam Pro checked all the boxes, when I got it, I was honestly blown away! I have a C920 and expected a slight upgrade from that, but in many ways the Facecam Pro is comparable to my Panasonic G7. I will say, I've had issues with my PC being able to handle the software while streaming but once I made my adjustments in the software one time, I can save them to the camera and I don't need to run the software while streaming.**The pic was when I was still running the software on ... MoreSo I'm a long-time content creator and for the past several years I've used a mirrorless camera for all my content. The quality of this camera is amazing. I don't have as extensive experience as many folks out there, but I am very pleased by the performance i've seen so far and the multitude of settings I can adjust... superb! The only con right now that I am having to go through quite a bit of modifications to my work space to accommodate is the length of the cable that came with the camera. And unfortunately, other cables do not seem to be compatible... so far. It would be perfect if there were a couple more feet on this cable. Or if there were an extension I could purchase or simply a longer cable. If there are compatible cables it would super helpful if corsair could provide some recommendtions on finding and purchasing a third party cable that is compatible. The second, ... MoreThe quality of this camera is amazing. I have to rig something up on my own as i imagine other users might be doing as well. Would look super clean if there was something built into this sexy design. That's it, outstanding in all other respects.
I'm a longtime Elgato Facecam user. I think the Facecam and its accompanying software are FANTASTIC. A godsend to someone like me who makes a lot of video podcasts.I saw that the Facecam Pro was launching and I was excited. Could this be even better than the Facecam?? If so, it would be a dream!I got the camera and I have to say I'm incredibly disappointed. While the camera does do higher resolution and sharpness than the original Facecam, it is massive, bulky, and unwieldy. The biggest flaw: it is UNABLE To re-create lifelike skintones. A lot of skin colors look washed out. What's worse: The colors orange/red are EXTREMELY exaggerated. This means if your face has ANY redness in it whatsoever, it will stick out like a sore thumb in the camera. I'm not just ... MoreI'm a longtime Elgato Facecam user. This means if your face has ANY redness in it whatsoever, it will stick out like a sore thumb in the camera. I'm not just talking about your lips, i'm talking about like literally the area around your eyes. It looks unsightly and it's not a problem the old Facecam problem has. As a result, this camera is almost unusable to me.Elgato needs to fix the color profiles on this or offer a way to tune this in the app. the app functionality for the Pro is really lacking right now.I'm a die hard elgato fan but this camera, its price, and the image quality have really shaken my loyalty.
I waited for this camera expecting it to be better that Insta360 link. I was surprised how huge and bulky it is. Auto focus is really horrendous, it constantly zooms in and out from my face to the wall when i move even a little bit. Seems like you'd need more than 2 meter distance between you and the background. Quality is ok, but absolutely not "DSLR-like" as Corsair claims.
So I upgraded from a Logitech C920 and all I can say is....WOW! The smoothness of the frames, the color range that the Pro picks up, the ease and everything. I cannot recommend this enough. Currently editing my video to show the astronomical difference between the 2 right now.
