I own several Estwing hammers and this hatchet is consistent with the quality of the older tools. Solid design and construction that will last a lifetime. Has a good weight/feel for it’s size and came sharpened right out of the box. Have used it a few times so far. If you’re looking for a compact camping hatchet that punches above it’s weight, this is it.

Well balanced, rugged and a great looking camp ax. Obviously a quality product at a good price.
Shipped on time and arrived in great condition. I have only tried it out on some firewood kindling but its very sharp and the length is perfect. Feels good in my hands. I expect to store this in my F-350 for cutting limbs and blow downs on forest roads.
Good looking campers axe. The finish was ok, had some unpainted spots on the upper handle that kinda made it look like it was used then returned, but the head was in perfect shape and very sharp. Good feel and comfortable in the hand.
Does what it needs to do and easy to store. I read one review that the sheath didn’t fit! You stick the handle through the opening and it snaps like it’s supposed to
The axe itself is great, great weight, hand feel, sharp edge, handle feels right, made in USA- all good features. Comes with a case but the case doesn’t fit, doesn’t snap right and when you can finally get it into place, it doesn’t close. When you do clasp it, the edge of the axe actually pokes out on the top because the case isnt a proper fit. For $30 a great axe but they should just lose the case because they were clearly designed independently and no one ever checked the functionality of them working together.
Great hatchet. It has the puller built in for tent stakes and the handle is a hard plastic. It arrived sharp,free of rust and scratches, but the bag it came in definitely seen some better days. This was the fault of the carrier not the company though. 5 stars, will change if I ever have an issue but I’m sure this will survive any abuse I can come up with.
I remember using the leather handled version of this as a boy scout. So when I saw this one with the high visibility handle, I knew I needed to add it to my camping tools. 3 camping trips since I got it and it has been used every single time. The ease at which this hatchet cuts is just amazing.It is made of one solid piece of metal, so no need to worry about the head coming loose. The comfort grip handle is just as amazing as well.
