FURminator Deshedding Tool For Dogs, Small / Short Hair

Life saver for both my allergies and all of the furniture in my house. I have had this product for 7-8 years and have used it on both my dogs and cats. While this product is not technically for cats I have used it on my long haired cats. This tool is amazing for my long haired dogs and both cats. It’s easy to use and comfortable to use for extended periods of time. It doesn’t hurt my animals while I’m brushing them which is very important to me. I am also allergic to cats and as much as I love my cats the allergy medicine was not enough but this tool has significantly helped with my allergies. My wife and I were skeptical based solely on appearances, but ended up ordering one of these for our house. We have 2 large pitbulls and a rottweiler/sheppard mix. Our rottie sheds constantly and we were vacuuming daily and using other brushes to try and combat the hair that was literally everywhere to no avail. When we first got our FURminator I filled about 1/3 of a plastic bag with her fine undercoat and long topcoat. It was absolutely amazing, as well as insane. We will never be without one or two of these in our house as long as we own dogs!

I absolutely love this thing. My dogs love being brushed and are constantly shedding. Just using a regular brush never really did the job. Even daily brushing with it wasn’t enough. The Furminator is a game changer. I brush my boys with it every few days and oh my, it’s like a third entire dog’s worth of fur when I do. However, when used there is significantly less hair all over the house since it just does so well at getting out the undercoat. Completely recommend.

has been my lifesaver at home for my fur baby. She's a Golden Retriever with some Labrador mixed in and sheds her undercoat like there's no tomorrow! This has reduced the need to sweep daily at home and also the amount of floatie hairs you get when they shake off. It's easy enough that with 30 minutes of grooming every 1-2 weeks reduces the amount of undercoat insanely, without taking too much of the upper hair layer so she's fresh in the warmer days (in photo 1 you can see her first brush of the year). I frankly can't think of a way to make this product better, she loves how it feels when I use this tool to groom her and it makes it so easy, so I love it too for my #furryfriends needs!

I have every type of brush you would need to brush a dog. Nothing ive ever tried compares to this brush. I tested it by using three different types of brushes before using The Furminator and they got a tiny bit of fluff. Immediately after brushing her with those brushes i started using the furminator. It always amazes me how much comes off of her with this thing. It is so helpful in keeping the shed levels down. Love this! Go for it. I bought mine from Amazon for like $10 and 1 year later it's still working great.

This brush works wonders in getting all the loose hair off of my long-haired ragdoll cat. I have used glove brushes before, but I feel that this brush does a better job at getting the hair because it is a bit rougher. My cat actually enjoys being brushed and seems to find it relaxing some days. I really enjoy the feature that allows you to push the metal back forward to push off the already collected hair so that you have a fresh brush to continue grooming with. The FURminator is -an excellent tool to use on your dogs to remove excess hair,and keep it off. I generally would brush my dog at least 4 days out the week to ensure the product works and it does a great job to minimize the hair in returning. Our dog was going through anxiety, because, she loss her sister of 14 years old and passed away recently. Her anxiety was high, but using the FURminarator it minimize her anxiety. Plus I decided to take her to a new park where a portion is fenced for dogs and this helped with her recovery, but I am still taking her to the park, so she can continue to recover. I currently own two dogs one a female Blue Nose Pitbull and the other is a female Shorkie. I've been using the Furminator deshedding tool mostly on my Shorkie as she has long hair that tends to shed any and everywhere. I really love this tool because it does a wonderful job of collecting loose hair while keeping her fur neat and looking healthy. I'd highly recommend this product to those who have tried other similar products that have failed or haven't done a great job of carefully and painlessly removing long hair from your fur babies. #

Holy Moly. No Danes were harmed to take this photo. My Dane sheds more than any short haired dog I’ve ever seen in my life. I purchased the large 50lb + version of the comb, which at about $40 is not cheap. The thing seriously gets out some hair. No joke about that! This was on my first day of brushing him, and I have brushed him almost daily trying to get more out. STILL getting out a ton of hair. Hoping this will help with some of the massive amount of hair we accumulate on the floor. He definitely loves how it feels which makes it easier on me. Great tool, just seems expensive for what it is, and there really should be another size bigger (like an XL) for bigger dogs

The FuRminator is the best thing I’ve ever used! If you have a dog or cat that sheds, you need this!! It’s amazing at helping to minimize shedding for my short hair chihuahua. She usually sheds all year round but there is about twice a year (winter or summer) when the shedding is very intense and there would be hair-bunnies everywhere in my house. This tool helped significantly minimize that and also helps to smooth her fur out and leave it soft as well. She enjoys the brushing and I enjoy not having dog hair all over my clothes and furniture so it’s a win-win. Highly recommend this! Love it!
