Just received the furminator today for my border collie. It arrived less than 24 hrs from ordering and I am very impressed with this product. The amount of hair it removed was amazing and it didn't seem to bother my dog who normally does not enjoy being groomed. Very happy so far and the price was excellent.

I've had a few different brushes but none of them compare to this one. My dog feels so much cooler and less hairy and I have removed so much hair. Doesn't pull or hurt. Great investment. Received in less than 24 hours after ordering.

Our goldie doesn't like brushing, however it is a must that we deshed her if she is to be a "house dog" as we are forever sweeping up her hair. We deshed her twice a week and she is tolerating it with the hope of eventually just getting used to it. It certainly gets the loose hair out.

Pretty impressive on my two cavaliers! You need to use a very light touch because you only need to remove the undercoat that's already loose and ready to fall out. If you use any pressure, it pulls the top coat and this is painful for them. It's necessary to brush first to get rid of any mats and tangles, and then use the de-shedding tool after. So if you don't already have a brush of some sort, then you'd need to buy one as well. Rubber grip is great, the tool itself has a bit of weight to it but not difficult to use.
Fantastic product. We had a furminator for our cats and were amazed how much hair it removed. Needed the large one for our Aussie Shepherd and it does an amazing job. Very happy with this product.
This removed so much under hair on my German Shepard/ kelpie! So easy, no pressure and she actually enjoyed it. I bought the large long hair, I was debating about getting short because she is not long haired but works fabulously
I've owned 3 of these now (none have broken as they're very well made, I just keep losing them) and they've all been fantastic. I've got a long hair german shepherd who sheds like crazy, and this brush helps with that like nothing else. I've used a number of different brushes and nothing else compares. If you've got a dog with a double coat and a shedding issue, the expense is definitely worth it
Our girl is not keen on her rear end being brushed, and her coat gets matted. We have found that this is so easy to use, she doesn't love it but is more tolerant than she is with a brush. Plus it does a better job of getting rid of the excess hair.Her brother, loves it and he seems to realise that it has got rid of those knots that Border Collies get.Really recommend
I?m heavily pregnant with our 3rd baby and up until now I've been vacuuming sometimes twice a day. Our golden retriever cross sheds so much hair that I would find balls of it floating around the house only a day after vacuuming. We've just used this deshedding tool for the first time and are amazed at how much hair it was able to get off him. We might have to use it twice a week as he sheds quite a bit, but now I can get away without vacuuming daily. His coat and body actually looks great after a good brush, too, a little bonus! Recommend!
I've been using this tool on my short haired chihuahua who is going through her first shed at 6 months. I thought I was becoming allergic to her. But after using this tool I'm way less allergic (/not having any reaction) and she looks and feels so sleek. Highly recommend. It's quite sharp so you have to be extra gentle and comb in small lots.
