The Trident RGB is really really nice I thought it would be ok because of 3200mhz but it's speeds beat all others speeds and the price for this item is amazing too especially for 32gb. If you have an amd proccesor or initial proccesor this is the ram to use. It works with amd and initial. The Trident RGB brand has won many awards for being top memory brand. It's even more stunning in person when it lights up. The RGB is great. When you pay for the product you're paying for great service. The team at Micro center were very kind and nice. So overall I would recommend this to any one.

People seeing my new build always comment on how beautiful this TridentZ RGB RAM looks in the case! It’s compatible with Mystic, Aura or its own LED controller software. If you have an ASUS motherboard, use the Aura software for the best effects here! (My RAM syncs perfectly with the LED panels on the front of my Cougar Gemini-S case!)Speed frequency is important when using this RAM with AMD Ryzen cpus like my R9 3900x. That’s why I purchased the 3200Mhz package. I added this 32 GBs to the same previously purchased to get a full 64 GBs of RAM.Be sure to consult your motherboard bios on how to set this speed (it defaults to 2133 MHz). You need to set the profile for it in order to get the 3200 MHz.I would buy this RAM again!

I usually look for performance, not aesthetics. However, I chose this product based on aesthetics only to have that element fail shortly after installation. I've had good luck with G.SKILL in the past. Maybe just bad luck this time? Somehow though, between writing this review, forgetting to post it, finding this review, and rechecking the sticks... everything is working. I am used to RAM sticks being DOA 25% of the time; these showed up working, screaming even. Over half a year later, still going strong. Will buy another set.

I have had good luck with G.SKILL DDR3 and DDR4 memory over the years, and have used it in several builds using ASUS Motherboards. Unfortunately this set would not POST when installed on my ASUS Z590-a motherboard. I checked the G.SKILL memory compatibility website before I purchased this set, and it indicated that this set was compatible. I then tested both modules individually, thinking I may have received a defective stick and they would not POST. It is possible that both SDRAM modules were defective.
I like the rgb on this one, and how it looks with the spike blades. However, it seems like one of the sticks is changes color slightly faster than the other. I dont know if this is from my motherboard, because it happened with my 16GB set. Is slightly unfortunate, and only a minor inconvenience. 32GB is more than enough to play games, but it is future-resistant because it will last a while. The reason I got this much RAM is for machine learning. I wont be doing much gaming, but as someone who is doing starting to learn AI, this will last me enough too.

I picked up this kit after reviewing options listed as compatible, and found that they were easy to set up and use without too much bios tweaking. My one complaint has to do with the included RGB. I was worried something was broken but my PC then booted and I found that the lighting was out, through I had set it through the G Skill application the day before. I tried playing around in the software and restarting but nothing fixed it. Finally, I unplugged my PC and plugged it back in and that fixed the issue. I went to the store to buy two DDR4 memory module to expand my computer's memory from 16 GB to 32 GB. The sales person recommended an alternate brand from the one I was planning on buying there. That was excellent advice. It was on sale, so cheaper than the one I had planned on buying. Also its MSRP was higher than the MSRP of the one I had planned on buying, so it was really a good deal. The memory worked perfectly in my computer and has cool color changing LEDs on top.
I'm never getting RGB ram after this, it either doesn't power on, or stays powered on in sleep mode when it shouldn't be. It used to sync with RGB fusion but stopped a few months back and never got resolved, customer service had me fully power down and unplug the PSU which did reset things, but it doesn't stay that way after 1 sleep cycle. and it never causes it to sync with fusion 2.0 even though it's fully detected. This may be more of an issue with fusion 2.0 But after I went RGB with EVERYTHING on this build my next baller build is going to be a complete sleeper with nothing fancy going on other than another dead silent cooler setup
