I really wish it came with a release mechanism for the socket. It’s a bit disappointing.

Works very well for what i needed it for. Have a Polaris General and needed an Inch/Pounds torque wrench. This fits the bill perfectly! Comes with a case too.

I haven't done any comparing/testing as far as torque accuracy goes, but I feel like I shouldn't worry with this brand. GearWrench has been heavily credited through the car community and my experience with this wrench is a great one. -Good solid weight to it -Engraved markings for ft lbs and newtons -Sliding lock mechanism, easy to use -Knurled grip Feels great to work with. Has a nice tight thump for when you hit proper torque. Definitely recommend this tool.

Just your ordinary speed handle. Works great. I would recommend it.
Tested torque wrench for accuracy against a calibrated digital torque tester, found accurate. The downside to this torque wrench is the gear teeth, I found using the torque wrench the teeth slip at the high range when tightening.
Used it three times and the head broke. Doesn’t hook up anymore. Complete garbage warranty claim process. Contacted gearwrench and the send you to a contract shop which doesn’t respond. Never buying this brand again
Was a bit skeptical of this but didn't want to invest hundreds in a new replacement for my tired 25 year old Craftsman. Especially since I no longer trust the Craftsman brand. Comes with a calibration sheet and seems to be accurate. Release collar motion is nice...allows for easy setting. Just used it to install an intake manifold. Sensitivity at the lower end of the torque range seems good.
Worked very well and seems to be a high quality piece, but the markings on the wrench were very hard to read. The numbers are small and are stamped into the handle and with the chrome finish it's hard to see them unless the light is just right. Adjusting the wrench is easy, so no problems there. If the numbers or marks were a dark color or if the background around them were a brushed or flat finish, like on some sockets, it would be a big improvement, but as is, the adjustment markings are less than ideal.
No guessing if the socket is fully engaged. No guessing if the set torque has been reached. This is a quality tool. And it looks good too! Oh, and jbtools had the BEST price
i bought this mainly because of reviews here ,, but i also compared this with the business shop garage snapon wrench ,, and it was essentially the same when torquing things .. this is my home use when working on things and not taking the shop's wrench ..
