A very versatile knife with a comfortable handle and a slightly deeper blade than a utility knife. We replaced a GSF-22 utility knife with the GS-97 because of the more substantial handle which makes the knife easier to use. We have combined this knife with a GS-96 pairing and a GS-3 cooks which is slightly bigger but not a big as our full size cooks or santoku knives.

Bought this to replace an old knife I loved. The blade of the Global knife is narrower and slightly shorter than the knife it is replacing so in hindsight perhaps I should have opted for the 13cm Cook's knife. However it is sharp and versatile so I'm sure I'll grow to love it as much as my other Global knives.
