These are brilliant. The stands are lighter than our old steel stands but completely solid. You can place the speaker on the stand at low level and then raise the central pole to the required height. The auto lock feature stops the pole from slipping down as you raise it and when you have it at the correct height a standard metal pin ensures the speaker stays in position. Great stands.
