In needing to manage his diet it is a relief that he has and continues to find it palatable enough to eat every day I do add a little chicken breast as well so he doesn't think he is missing out as we have two dogs and I was concerned he would balk at having something different.

Great pet food for pet susceptible to struvite stones PLUS only food that isn't higher in fat. Our dog can have this and not put on weight. We add some water to help with deterring stones and it works a treat.

I have two bulldogs, one with moderate allergies (what we think is environmental after testing). My French bulldog came from a puppy mill and she had urinary issues (crystals) when first adopted. Both girls have to watch their weight as well. This food has helped with losing a few pounds, no further urinary issues and it also has seemed to help with my dog's allergies (which I assume has to do with the high quality ingredients). We use the chicken flavour. I think this food is an important choice, especially with a breed such as the bulldog with the potential for several health problems.
My dog had struvite bladder stones twice before she changed to the Urinary Care dry diet. Once she became adjusted, she also started putting on extra weight. The vet recommended the Urinary + Metabolic product and she has done well on the product for the past year. She even lost a few pounds and is doing well. I gave this 3 star rating because the product cannot be found ANYWHERE! Is it still being produced? In a market where there appears to be zero alternate options for feeding this special diet, lack of availability is a very frustrating problem.
Nadia loves this food. She has been on it since 2018 after have bladder stone surgery.
This was prescribed to my dog but he doesn't like it at all. He's old and his teeth are brittle so I had to to get another softer food that he will eat.
