I am a customer of K&N Engineering, and last summer I bought a kn filter for my 97 Chevy Cavalier 2.2L engine. As it is, these cars get really good gas mileage. I held on to my money after I bought this filter for my car, because you don't ever have to replace it again. EVER!!!!. So I knew right away that I wasn't going wrong with a washable and reusable filter from the world's best air filter and oil filter company, and I wasnt loosing anymore money. This filter has increased mpg and horsepower. My car now has more bit of kick to it when I get on the throttle. I gotta say that the oil filter and air filter are both A+++++++++++. Thanks KN for making incredible products.

One of the best oil filters you can buy retail. Combined with a good synthetic oil it should get you maximum benefit from synthetic engine oils. Have used these in a number of my cars and trucks over the years. Worth the few extra dollars you pay for these. My local Cdn Tire seems to keep a stock of these as well.

Ive always been a big fan of K&N. Everything from air filters to oil filters. Ive never had a problem with K&N. They cost a little bit more than other brands but the fact that they work better and last longer makes the extra few dollars well worth it.
06 GMC Z71 150.000 miles I have used Wix oil filter on this truck from day one never had a problems with it starting dry up top. change oil an filter used k&n hp1007 it starts to rattle when you first crank it. So I put a Wix filter back on it an it stopped the rattleAn yes I used same oil in it. Maybe valve in filter was not working . Letting oil drain back in pan. Don't know but k&m air filters r the best I'm my book
From various internet reviews these are great quality.What I especially like is the hex bolt head built into the can. I always hand tighten to put it on, but having that hex head can really speed getting the filter off!
With the TRD filter, being discontinued byToyota on some of their product line. Thisfilter, could be a possible replacement, forthose owners looking for an upgrade.
K%26N filters are strong and have excellent filtration. The welded nut on the filter provides ease of removal and replacement, especially for lower profile vehicles when doing an oil change in the garage or driveway with a floor jack. One of the top recommended filters on the market. A few dollars more, but well worth it.
I was using another brand and my 05 Silverado was always tech, tech, tech. Bought one of these, she's quiet as a mouse. Did everything else exactly the same! Same oil, same mechanic changed it, VERY happy with this product.
