I really love this juicer! One of the handiest attachments I own. I use it two ways -First the usual way, to make juice from apples, or other hard fruit - it works extremely well! The second way - when I want to make potato pancakes, I put in peeled potatoes (cut them if too large to fit in), and "make juice" as usual - except you throw away the juice and use the finely-grated solids in the waste basket, with all the liquid pre-extracted from them, to make the pancakes. You could do the same if needing to mush and separate liquids from any food (tomatoes, etc). Just remember - a centrifuge is basically a separator, liquids on one side and solilds on the other - use whichever you need :)

This juicer is powerful, straight forward to assemble and clean, sturdy and effective. I tested it out straight away with a basic carrot, apple and ginger mix and it was all so quick and easy I ended up making much more than I needed. The metal body is good quality and just looks beautiful atop my Kenwood mixer. The only niggle I had was the lack of a foam filter. The jug does have a foam separator bit that works well if the jug is full but less so when the contents get lower than the separator. I like my juice clear so have to strain it again before drinking. There wasn't too much foam and I guess the cylinder could get a bit backed up if too much was filtered out so overall its only a tiny niggle. From what I've seen of other juicers foam is a bit of a given so in ... MoreThis juicer is powerful, straight forward to assemble and clean, sturdy and effective. I would definitely recommend this if you have a Kenwood Chef/Major, the quality and performance is amazing.

Pros: Excellent qualityCons: I have put it back on in its boxIt wouldn, t juice carrots as easily as my old juicer.Very disappointing. Waste of money.
Pros: Extracts juiceCons: Poor quality materials. Poor design. Basket chafes.
Pros: Easy to use, good performance.Cons: Extractor basket seems a bit flimsy. It would be good if the whole thing could go in the dishwasher.
Easy to put together and great quality as you'd expect from Kenwood. We've only used it to juice apples so far but it's done an excellent job of that. Comes apart easily for cleaning but the actual blade attachment is a little tricky to get fully clean. If you already have a Kenwood Chef then we'd definitely recommend this addition rather than getting a separate dedicated device. We already have plenty of jugs so would have preferred if the package came without this and the cost could have been lower as a result.
Pros: solid baseCons: its broken 3 times and now caused the coupler to break, also its grates the plastic catching tray when using, sometimes burning plastic smell was present
