LOVE this attachment! Used it to make Cream of Turkey & Vegetable Soup: 9 potatoes, 8 carrots & 8 stalks of celery perfectly diced in well under 5 minutes! Would have taken me ages by hand and the dice would have been less even. The gear box is heavy, I am assuming it contains metal gearing so should last my lifetime. The rest of the attachment is easy to assemble/disassemble, and easy to clean, first using the provided press to remove incompletely diced remnant, and then in hot soapy water or the dishwasher.Overall, nothing not to love.

I love this attachment-so well made and easy to use. It takes longer to set up than actually dice things, but that’s a good thing. In a couple of minutes I can dice up a large pot of vegetables for minestrone, or apples for a strudel. I’m looking forward to discovering new ways to use it!Resist the temptation to put in too much at once though- the blades can become clogged, however this isn’t a such a problem with the cleaning tool provided.

Pros: Very quick, ideal if you want a lot of cubed vegCons: Quite difficult to clean, so only used for large quantities that I then freeze. If you change to another vegetable, you will get some of the previous one at first as quite a bit of material gets left in top bit.Would be good if you could do different size cubes.

If you change to another vegetable, you will get some of the previous one at first as quite a bit of material gets left in top bit.Would be good if you could do different size cubes.
Pros: Diced evenlyCons: Too many parts so could be simplified. It also doesn’t get all the food out.
Pros: This does what I expected it to and is very sharp so gets through even harder vegetables easily. It’s satisfying to use and the cubes are very pretty.Cons: It’s a fiddle to assemble. The cubes are very small, I wish there were size options or the default were slightly bigger. Good for soups but in my opinion too little for salads and currys etc. It’s a pain to wash, comes with an attachment to poke the grid clear but you still get fiddly bits you have to prise out. I’m put off using it as it does the work in about a minute then takes 15 mins to clean and dry. It was an expensive mistake for me. Maybe if I batch cooked more it might be worth it.
Pros: Great attachment for courgettes, cucumbers and small potatoesCons: The opening is too narrow for medium size potatoes
Pros: Well made and toughCons: Doesn't work very well. It cuts carrots and parsnips adequately but onions and leeks seem to slip sideways and completely block the cutter.Swede was too hard. It was painful to watch the poor thing.I had to return my first cutting blade because it was warped and caught on the housing, damaging both. The replacement is fine but the whole thing was an expensive waste of money. I wanted to dice all sorts of veg for stews and soups but I can only make it work with a limited range. If I've got to use a knife for some there's no point in getting it all out and faffing about after cleaning it.
The hexagonal core of the adapter is larger in diameter than the input of kMix (it needs to be processed with a rasp :)). The upper part of the kMix (from the height) does not allow the attachment to dock with the gearbox (it is possible to remove the kMix aluminum cover). You can certainly work by holding the attachment with your hand, but it's very uncomfortable. For kMix the attachment MGX400 with the adapter KAT002ME is suitable.
Pros: Chopping vegetables for soup or salads is now effortless and insanely fast.Cons: Vegetables like peppers get juiced quite a bit and somewhat chewed. Not as lovely and clean cut as other type of veg like carrots, potatoes or courgettes for example. You have to remember a lot of chopped veg is still inside the dicer. It is still somewhat puzzling as to how all the parts fit together, but despite all this, I’d buy it again.
Loved it, only just bought the mixer which I havent used yet but used the diced to make soup last weekend and am going to make pasties this weekend. Cant wait
