I'm super inexperienced with hair and frankly suck at it. I went and got a purple balayage at my Ulta, and I asked what can I do to keep the color as long as possible. My stylist Denise directed me to this product. I love it so much, I was worried to wash my hair but this stuff is amazing. Last time I got it done I was only using purple shampoo and conditioner, which didn't really help. Using this product this time around with redying my hair, saved it. It keeps it so nice and fresh. It also smells good and makes my hair super soft, I have really dry hair so this is a plus. I have thick hair so I make sure to really saturate it and washing it out after 20 minutes with cold water. I'm happy with this product

I've used this product on and off for years. My hair is currently dyed back to my natural golden copper red color and the copper is keeping it nice and vibrant. I use it every other shampoo instead of my regular conditioner. I'm a natural redhead and I like to add a bump of vibrancy to it every now and then, especially in the winter when I'm not getting a ton of sun on my hair and it starts looking dull. I got this during one of the black friday sales when it was half off. I use it in place of conditioner when I use it, it conditions decently and makes my hair soft. It adds the perfect punch of orange-copper to my hair and I am so grateful it isn't a red copper like so many copper colors are. I leave it on for 20+ minutes though just to feel like I'm getting my money's worth out of it. If I don't use it, it is pretty much completely washed out of my hair after 2 washes (with double-shampooing, so maybe 4 washes if you shampoo once). It's a thin consistency so it spreads easily, smells ... She fixed my boo-boos over the course of two sessions and while my fine hair did take a beating it has been fixable with thoughtful conditioning and care. Although she did an amazing job, there were still a few stubborn spots that were gold reflective. She recommended this in the Silver, as I really wanted to avoid another bleaching session. I tried it as per the directions, and was pleased as it took out the gold reflectives however, it was not the "silver of my dreams." A couple days later I decided to apply it to dry hair, slept on it overnight, and rinsed the next day. OK...now we're getting ... Maybe not as "dark" as before, but I was still very impressed how well the color held up. I washed it again two days later, and this is when I started to see the fade. Not drastically, and I'm probably the only one that can tell, but it did get a bit lighter. I'm thinking I can do an overnight "clenditioning" on dry hair once a week to maintain the "silver of my dreams" and wash traditionally twice a week. Also, My hair remains shiny, highlight reflective, and above all - SOFT! It isn't the silky soft of pre-beaching, but it is nowhere near coarse AT ALL. And between the PERFECT job my stylist did, and the Keracolor, it looks like natural silver hair. I am BEYOND thrilled I have the hair I have wanted for 15+ years when I became tired of "fighting the greys". Others have mentioned breakage and hair loss, and as a fine and thin haired lady, I have been watching for it and have not experienced that, but I am also pretty careful with my compromised hair. I love this and I highly recommend!

I used Espresso on fine, dark brown hair (previously color-treated for grays). Wanted to get rid of some oxidized rustiness between trips to the salon. I applied to damp hair for 3-5 minutes, and it deposited a bit of color. Might've been better with a second or slightly longer application. HOWEVER, there won't be a second application, because as others have mentioned: First, I couldn't get the pump to work. After completely removing it, I was able to use the product, but the application was extremely messy. Second, the color rinsed out Espresso, but when towel drying deposited some Espresso on my towel, I figured I'd shampoo once just to be safe - my hair was still wet anyways. I bought the copper shade. The best way i would recommend usage is doing it on dry freshly washed hair. Leave on for 30-45 minutes. The conditioner leaves your hair smelling amazing, it leaves it really soft & it refreshes your color back to what it would look like if you first got it done. Its pricier than most for how small the bottle is but the pump is easy to use. The product is easy to wash off and doesnt stain anything. That includes counter tops and hands and gloves and the tub. My hair was looking very dull and it looks like i just went to the salon and got it redone. At least when it comes to the silver, IT DOES NOT BLEED.Also, for those of us sensitive / picky about scents (I can't stand Moroccan oil)...this smells good without being over-powering. I don't use perfume and often get actively angry being stuck in rooms with people who wear it (it can make me physically ill, too). I'll pay extra for the fragrance-free body-washes, I'll admit it. Sensitive sniffers should be fine -- barring, of course, any known allergies. As someone with sensitive skin, however, I've been fine even with 1-2 washes a day.
