Kerastase Elixir Ultime Le Bain Shampoo 250 ml

I love Kerastase and I love the Elixir Ultime Oil itself, but I had to return both the shampoo and the masque from this line. I have no idea why, but my skin had a terrible reaction to them on my face, chest and back. Clogged pores, small bumps and terribly itchy skin. I am always careful to rinse out my shampoo and conditioner thoroughly and even wash my face, neck, chest, and back with antibacterial cleanser after conditioning to remove any residue, but it didn’t help. The scent of this shampoo and corresponding products in the Elixir Ultime line is also very very strong - like a heavy floral perfume. Probably not ideal for men. And it lingers. I wouldn’t recommend if you have sensitive or problematic skin or issues with fragrances. Try a sample first and perhaps consider washing and conditioning in a sink instead of a bath or shower. A hard pass for me.

Bring consumers larger volumes to reduce waste

While I enjoy using your product, I don’t appreciate that your company already has the capability (I.e. bottles, labels, pumps, and mfg equipment) to produce liters and chose to only sell them to salons. I do not enjoy having to purchase these small bottles that don’t even have pumps. The bottle falls out of my hands, I waste product (I’m sure that is purposeful for a brand that enjoys waste). You have competition that are doing a better job. It’s one step forward to sell your 5 best-selling shampoos, but when will all the shampoos be available. If things don’t change, I can’t support your company as it doesn’t align with my values.

ELIXIR ULTIME KÉRAS PARI LE FONDANT I didn't like

Hello! I bought the Elixir ultime combo and the truth is that the LE FONDANT seemed very bad to me, it was very bright with this product. It was hard for me to buy it because my main idea was to buy only the oil but I took a chance and bought the combo and the truth disappointed me. It is very liquid, it seems diluted in water. I don't feel softness or changes when I use it.

Favourite shampoo ever

This is my favourite shampoo EVER, it's worth the money. My hair feels shiny and sleek after use, and it always feels like a luxury product. I've noticed hair growth after using this product too. It lasts a super long time as a little goes a long way- we'll worth the money.

Love this stuff

This is the stuff of dreams. Seriously peeps - you use this and you’ll never look back. I was using olaplex. To be honest I don’t understand the hype of olaplex. Packaging doesn’t look nice, nor does the product smell nice and to be honest I wasn’t impressed with the outcome. Kerastase however is a complete game changer. My hair is now so shiny, silky but not greasy AND it smells lovely too. It’s a no-brainer. Will now be my “go to” product for hair

Oil is good but shampoo/conditioner smell awful

The hair oil is great but the shampoo and conditioner have an awful old-lady cheap perfume smell. The first time I used it, I had trouble sleeping due to the smell. The second time, when my husband was around, he wouldn't sleep in the same room with me. The conditioner was very runny and not very effective. Usually, I adore Kerastase products, but this line-up (minus the oil) was the worst.

Shiny air dried hair now

Changed my hair for good! I’ve used Kerestase shampoo and conditioner for years now and just switched from their Discipline line to this one. SO glad I did! I can let my slightly textured hair air dry and it is so soft, shiny and WAY less frizzy. The only thing I miss about the Discipline line is the amazing smell- this line (the oil smells amazing) doesn’t have the best fragrance, but totally worth it for the outcome.

Too Fragrant, Oily Result

I've been using the hair oil serum for years, love it. I was excited to receive a sample of the shampoo and conditioner. WOW, way too fragrant was my first impression. A bit overwhelming, I do not like strong fragrance and this was beyond strong in the shower. I definitely had to rinse extremely well after using this product. While it did create nice shine initially, my normal to dry hair felt and looked greasy the following day. Not for me.

Your customer are asking for a product ..

I was planning on ordering this shampoo and conditioner as my hairstylist uses it on my hair every 6 weeks . However , after looking at his elixer and the new one We both realized he must have the older one . It smells fabulous and makes my hair look gorgeous.After reading the reviews I don’t think I will order the new one.A lot of your customers sound very unhappy that you changed it . Please listen to your customers and bring the old one back for those who like it so much and keep the new one for those the like the new one.It a great way to keep your customers happy and returning . I have been using the Chronoligiste Revitalising 3 Step Regime for 2 yrs now and I think it's the best line from Kérastase. Because this line was slightly cheaper, I thought I'd give it a go. I purchased 2 shampoo + 2 masks as it was cheaper than buying singles. I had never been let down by Kérastase, so I didn't think it would be a risk. Now, I really regret the decision because I have 2 sets of something I hate. I think it doesn't suit fine/soft hair. It made my scalp and roots very greasy the next morning. And it doesn't nourish the ends much, left it feeling dry. My hair never tangles with the Chronoligiste, but this lets me experience the tangling every day. I've used the Volumifique and the Resistance line before as well.
