Amazing for blondes. I was recommended this shampoo a few years ago when I went to get my hair done. Before then I’d only been using chemist brand shampoos. It has helped me keep my length even while getting my hair highlighted every 3 months. I took a break at the start of the year and used Moroccan Oil for a few months and my hair was noticeably more oily and the condition of it got so much worse. I’ve switched back to this Kerastase shampoo and my hair is so much happier

The stylist that cut my hair recommended Bain Extentioniste Shampoo and Discipline Fondant Fluidealiste for my hair. Both products are definitely not worth the money. While my hair feels soft - it is too soft. I cannot do anything with it.It seems to feel greasy by day 2. And worst, there appears to be a lot more hairs in my brush after using your products. Definitely not worth the money. I will not be buying again. In fact, I will probably stop using it.

This shampoo transformed my hair. It is so soft and smooth and clean feeling. My hair never felt this clean with my other shampoos even when I would clarify every two weeks. This is a protein shampoo though so I make sure to use a chelating shampoo every week or two to remove excess protein build up. Too much protein can actually make your hair brittle and prone to breakage so be careful!

I took the online diagnostic tool test again providing the same information, but including the desire for longer hair -- it recommended the Bain Extentioniste shampoo, Fondant Exentionise conditioner, etc. Well, my experience with the Bain Extenioniste shampoo was just okay, I probably wouldn't buy it again.Process: Upon opening, I noticed that the product was clear (not creamy like the Bain Therapiste). The smell was pleasant, but not as great as the other products. I used a quarter sized amount to my scalp, then another quarter sized amount through my lengths (second wash) and lathered them both in. I noticed that this product builds up a big lather (very sudsy), unlike the creamy Therapiste. After shampooing I combed my hair before conditioning and noticed my hair didn't tangle (very good!). Then, I conditioned with the Extentioniste mask (not to be confused with the Fondant conditioner) and then after towel-drying, I applied a hazelnut sized amount of the ciment thermique (which I love). When blow-drying, I noticed my hair was very dry and frizzy. First, I blamed the mask, but then questioned the shampoo. I had plenty of Kerastase styling products to soften my hair, but it wasn't the same as the glossy, smooth locks that the Bain Therapiste shampoo left me with. So, then, a day later I experimented with a different combo: Bain Extentioniste shampoo with the Fondant Extentioniste conditioner + ciment thermique -- this combo gave me a better result, but my hair was still slightly dry, but definitely much smoother. Then, I tried another combo (the Therapiste shampoo with the exentioniste mask -- final result gave me glossy locks). I concluded that maybe my balayage highlights don't respond well to the shampoo, or the shampoo is high in sulfates which left me with a dry hair result reminiscent of the cheaper shampoos you can buy anywhere. This afternoon, I went back to my original Therapiste shampoo and Fondant conditioner combo that I loved so much, and surprise, surprise...I have another glossy-locks, magazine-ready Brazilian blow-out salon experience in my bathroom!Conclusion: I think I am going to stick with the Bain Therapiste shampoo. While the Bain Extentioniste might work better for other hair types, I don't think it serves those with highlighted hair well. I would recommend this to friends who don't have highlighted hair or overly processed hair, or this shampoo might work those with more oily hair types. While I have given stellar 5 star reviews on practically every Kerastase product, this one only gets 4 stars. It's still a good shampoo, but it just didn't "wow" me. Going to return this back and hope they can exchange with a bottle of my favorite Bain Therapiste shampoo.

I am not sure what is the magic of this shampoo but really like how my hair looks after washing. I have slightly curly, unrully hair. Not easy to find a right shampoo. I wash my hair in the morning, let them dry naturally while i m having my coffe and doing my make-up. By the time i get to my job, my hair is done. I just wish the shampoo would be sulfate free however i haven't been noticing any hair damages because of it. I would like to believe that it can make my hair grow but i m not sure either, since I m doing highlights every 2-3 months and of course it provides some damages and prevent fast hair grow. This product is okay. Not the best, but not the worst. It lathers nicely and does clean my hair, but I don’t feel it’s done anything special for my hair. It also doesn’t smell great. I normally don’t mind anything with a chemical smell, but for the price I expect somewhat of a luxe experience and this includes how it smells. Not a bad product, but the Genesis line by Kerastase is much better when looking for a product that actually does something rather than just clean.
Regardless of your hair type, I believe you will find this shampoo to be quite outstanding in providing great results without weighing hair down. It has been very effective in keeping my long hair from heat damage. It seems to provide nice volume as well. The scent is clean and lovely. My stylist is very particular, and always asks I have this on hand for house call blow outs. Highly recommend. I have tried many high end hair brands, and always come back to Kerastase.
Love this shampoo for my fine hair. Leaves it super silky, soft and shiny. My hair does seem to grow more when I use this shampoo and corresponding conditioner. I sometimes will rotate hair products from other lines just so my hair doesn't get "too used" to any of them and stop delivering its indented benefits and cause build up. I always come back to this extentioniste line, and my hair just loves it; starts to grow grow healthy lengths.
I started using Kerastase back in 2018 when a stylist fried my hair off. I would tell anyone who would listen that it was the best ever. Well starting summer of last year something has been off with them and any product I use now makes my hair fall out or my scalp burn. Nobody has reached out to me to rectify the situation so I will be leaving reviews on everything I have purchased from them going back to 2018. it's very sad that they have turned into every other brand that uses harsh chemicals that further damage hair and can't event reach out to their loyal customers. The shampoo is very sudsy and offers an auxiliary strengthening that compliments the conditioner, but can leave the hair a little stiff if you really rub your shampoo in or wash 2x for a clean scalp.The serum is cooling to the scalp and made a difference in the comfort of my dry scalp. The applicator worked well for overall application, but was not the best for tight coily hair...the rounded tip felp good on the scalp but was too wide to get a good precision drop in a part of hair that fights back..if you know, you know. But for the average girl who can part her hair and have it stay, this should pose no problem.The conditioner is lasting forever despite heavy, coily/curly use, but the shampoo seems to be flying I'm running through it so fast, which I usually have experienced in opposite.Still, if it works it works! And this product works! I use 2x a week and now experience no tiny little breaks on my ends. After a month, I can see the length difference in my hair. Also, this product moisturizes but will not shrink your hair. So if manual elongation is a goal, ie a braid out, it will help you not to wrestle so much on wash day to sport your stretched look. I do not blow dry, so I cannot say if this will affect any moisture loss.
