Kerastase Resistance Masque Therapiste 200 ml

I have wavy/curly hair that tends to frizz and appear rather dry. Since it’s getting colder, I’ve been noticing more and more split ends. The mask has a subtle perfume-y smell which I actually quite liked. I’ve received many compliments regarding the scent of my hair after using the mask. Immediately when using on wet hair, my hair felt way softer. The effect lasted the longer the more regularly I started using the product. (I wash my hair 1-2 times per week and first started using the mask every other week or so to see if I’ll notice differences when using/not using the product) Absolutely love this product and will re-purchase it in the future.

Magnificent. Worth the Price.

Incredible. I have lightweight hair that is dry and prone to split ends yet also gets weighed down so easily. This masque is exquisite. It serves as a detangler as well and my hair feels completely different after using it. And a smidgen goes a long way. I rarely leave reviews but I had to say something because I stared at this for a long time debating whether to try it or not. I should have bought it months ago!

Noticeable Difference

All hair products are not made for everyone, so this review is based off my hair type and experience. I have 4B hair and have done the Brazilian Blowout. Needless to say my hair has been processed. This mask has made a difference in my hair manageability over the past 4 uses. I have seen a return of my coils and my hair is much softer. Less hair comes out when I comb it after washing it. Your hair is a protein and needs protein; that’s why I am seeing a difference in my hair. Other things you need to consider is your scalp health. If your scalp is not healthy no product will help with the state of your hair.

Saved my damaged, color treated hair

Love this mask! It saved my hair that was damaged due to coloring it and also always drying my hair with heat. My ends were extremely dry and didn't look smooth but after using this mask, they look normal. It also made my hair feel softer than an olaplex mask. For me, it works better than olaplex. I don't use this as a treatment, I use it after every shampoo as a hair conditioner. Even with this frequency, it lasts a long time because it is a thick mask so you don't have to use very much.

So Disappointed!

I was reluctant to purchase these as the brand is so pricey, but after reading all the rave reviews about these products I thought I'd take the plunge and splash out. I honestly wish I hadn't bothered and feel like I've just wasted a whole bunch of money! Upon first use I was impressed at how well the shampoo lathered and how little product was needed, and thought the items smelt great, but that's where the positives end. Admittedly my hair was pretty damaged, but these products made it feel 10x WORSE! My hair literally felt like straw after using. I checked, checked and triple checked that I was using the products in the correct order to make sure I hadn't gotten it wrong and messed up somewhere, and they may work better if used differently, but no. I thought I'd persevere with it though, hoping that over time it would eventually try to work as I know sometimes it takes a while to see results, but as time went on it was just getting worse. I took a break and thought I'd try something different to test and after one use of a different brand my hair felt so much better. Switched back to try the Kerastase again to test, and straight away, first wash - dry, straw-like hair again? Not quite sure what's so wrong with my hair that it seems to work miracles for others and just completely wreck mine? I really wanted to love this, but it really was so, so bad for me!

This is the only mask that was able to save my chemically cut hair which had a sort of bubble gum texture when wet after several sessions of bleaching. It’s very important to understand that this mask will not make your hair soft RIGHT AWAY. It will get a little stiff in the beginning but that means it’s working. First Therapiste will reconstruct the hair, giving its body back, it’s like a house, first you work on the structure of the house, making sure it’s foundation is strong and firm, then in the end you paint it and it gets nice and glossy, for the glossy part, which is more on the exterior, superficial part of the hair, you can use the Orange line that is for Nutrition. If your hair is in such a bad condition like mine was, I’d suggest not washing it very often but when you do, use Therapiste after shampoo and try not to blow dry your hair for a few weeks if that’s possible for you. This masque is better than the Olap and Redk

This is the best masque in the world. I am Hispanic and had my first highlights 5 years ago. I found Renata Meins on YouTube swearing by this masque. So I used Therapiste masque together with Joico KPak, coconut oil overnight once a weeke and dogs complex B vitamin from Amazon. My hair was gorgeous!!! Renata was so right. Then… last 6 months I highlighted my hair myself 3 times. My hair was weak and unhealthy. I bought Olaplex and Redken Acid Bonding. The Redken was good but Olaplex meh… so I bought this mascara again and voila! My hair sucked all the masque mixed with Redken Acid Bonding and Complex B vitamin for pets. I also use ciment heat protection from Kérastase for 5 years. These two are awesome. Nothing beats this mascara.

Troll Doll home-colouring disaster cure!

Lockdown has been a stressful time, not least of all for those of us have attempted lightening our hair at home!Dark brunette me gave going edgy purple - via some rather alarming shades of red, ginger and blonde - a pretty good good crack. The end result was hair 50 per cent shorter (not the plan) with the brittleness and texture of a Troll Doll (definitely not the plan!).In aftermath tried every conditioning/repair treatment known to science, Google and even a particularly concerned lady in the checkout queue at the supermarket. Nothing really helped. Finally an actual hairdresser recommended the Kerastase Resistence hair masque. Bingo! Very nourishing

I was reluctant to buy this mask due to its cost and having previously used another Kerastase mask that I ended up getting through after a couple of uses. I was completely right to buy it, this is the best mask that I've used and will be sticking to this! It's a thicker mask so you need less of it and it really does nourish your hair, I use it once a week and when I've then washed my hair and dried it my hair looks so shiny and really healthy. I use this in conjunction with the Extentioniste shampoo, conditioner and heat protectant as well as sleeping with my hair in a protective hairstyle (plaits) overnight.

Worth the surge!

So I have previously bleached hair that's been dyed brunette with a few highlights, so my hair is greasy at the roots, damaged and parched at the ends. These products are fab! I double shampooed(has the craziest texture, seems to help massage it in without causing breakage) left the masque on for around 5-10 mins, rinsed, towel dried the ends and then added two pumps of the serum whilst hair was damp. I then blowdried and noticed it was alot less frizzy however still abit fluffy at the ends. I then added another pump of serum which hydrated the ends without over doing it. The real magic came when I straightened my hair. Wow! It's so soft and shiny, it feels strong and manageable.
