LED Lenser P5R Core Rechargeable Torch

LED Lenser torches are always good and this is no different. Small and much brighter than any AA torch I've had. Slightly smaller than any 18650 torch I've had. The range of focus adjust is slightly lower than the old P5 I have but still OK.For me, a great balance between torch size and brightness.

It is obviously well made, and appears durable. However the operation leaves a lot to be desired. I bought this to replace a P8 (built like a Brick Out House) and dead simple to use. The P5 is a car crash in terms of operation. Everything is far too complicated. Press for a second, press again in a second, press again and hold... Too many options. On, off, and dim is enough. Would I recommend it - No? Does it represent value for money - No? I've given it 3 stars, because some people might like all the bells and whistles, but I don't.

Awesome little torch

Did a fair bit of research before landing on this torch. Need it for walking the dog at night on a dark beach and it does the job perfectly. The adjustable narrow/wide beam plus programmable light options is so handy. It's easy to program so I've now set it up the way I want it. The magnetic charging is also super-easy.This is a great torch!

Excellent flashlight

This is truly an exceptional torch/flashlight. There are functions I haven't bothered to work out how to use. Maybe I will. But the 3 strengths of light are very useful - one doesn't always want brilliant LED light - for my late night dog walks. The recharging is messy and my only quibble - it would be better to have a USB charging to allow charging when travelling without having to carry an extra cable, or if you lose the charging cable it's easy to get a replacement.

Goo product.Think about charging though

Goo product, excellent service.Only observation, the charging system of Led lenser is not convenient when moving things on a bag while hiking. it basically disconnects in a very easy way. Hope that can reach the manufacture at some point. Thanks

Ledlenser P5R Core Rechargeable LED Torch

Bought as a present for my daughter who had researched the product. Lived up to expectations. Lightweight with an amazing beam. Excellent.

Ledlenser P5R Core Rechargeable LED Torch

I had a P5R.2 and I loved it. Easy to use straight forward, sadly I lost it. I decided to look for it online and found that there are new models of the P5R. So I ordered the P5R Core and honestly I still don't know if I love it or hate it. I know is one of the best brands in the market but all the new features are to complicated to use, after two weeks I am still trying to learn how to use this light. Nevertheless I score it a 4 cause it's a Ledlenser, it's reliable, lightweight and powerful. For sure in the coming weeks I will learn about it, I suggest ledlenser to create a video that explains how to program/use the light and add it to the photo gallery of the product.

Made in China

I am hugely disappointed in you guys. Last purchase I will ever make from you. I raved about the first headlamp. Correct me if I made the wrong assumption that it was made here.Either way I will rave no more. Saddens me greatly. Awful country. With regret Jeff in Alaska.

Nice Flashlight but needs a dedicated soft holster like the original P5R

Its a little bigger than the OG P5R so the holster won't close properly, not a huge deal but I'm a mechanic and don't want to scratch things I might brush up against.Battery life is amazing!!! I bought two, so I can always have one fully charged but honestly, I just swap them out at the end of the week even though its still going bright.

Perfect also for P3 children

It just works perfect. The original mode was strongest -> middle -> weakest, but I customized to weakest -> middle -> strongest.Only one thing to notice is configuration is only possible when it's turned on.When it's turned off, it'll lock the light instead.
