I bought an LG microwave many years ago, & it was just rubbish that didn't work correctly & rusted within 12 months. I therefore decided that I would never again buy an LG product. Due to the small size of my kitchen, there were only 2 microwave options available that would work in this space, & the LG 23L NeoChef turned out to be the best option & works ever so much better than the one I had beforehand. It's just a truly simple & wonderful microwave that does exactly what it is designed to accomplish, should it be by either just warming food up or by using it as a true cooking tool.

Got this microwave to replace one that was great for many years but finally died. So needed a replacement for a household of 2-3 people. This was the correct size, price, higher power and got good reviews. At first I was put off by the simplicity of the control panel (my old one had the numeric keypad, etc) but now after using it for a month it really is just what you need. I mean really, what do you do with a microwave 99% of the time is use full power for 30 sec or a minute or two, right This model makes it so easy to just. do. that. Plus it's quiet and the signal is a chime, not a strident shriek. Even when you use different power levels, you don't hear the magnetron cycling on & off just smooth quiet cooking. This was a good buy.

I rang the customer service line and to be quite honest could barely understand the lady trying to help me due to language difficulties. Decided I must have just got a lemon and after doing a lot of research decided to purchase the same model again for two reasons. One it fits in the built in box above my built in oven and secondly I saw that most gave it got good reviews from other purchasers as well as Choice. LG has been around for a while so you know you’re getting a reliable product. You’ll just squeeze 290ø x 200 high food in. Was pleasantly surprised you can dial down the heating wattage which is great for off grid. And before you think it takes longer hence more power anyway, the lower drain is great for a limited total power (amps) set up such as off grid w solar. Flat east clean button panel and east grab to open long handle. I agree with a few other reviewers, some of the chime sounds make not sound like a $2 kids toy. Overall value for money.

My first Microwave and Im 65 and have to say, it is a task saver. There is a knack to open door, can be hard to unlatch, good exercise for your hand and finger. Hint Use one hand and anker thumb on bottom left side of panel board, pop that door a little easier.I would say loud but I dont have other microwave to compare. It did seem to come with warranty stuff advertised on it when I saw in shop. So take pictures, this was on a bit of a special. $209, but now the extras have gone from product, makes it a sore tooth, because I looking for the extra warranty given freely with the microwave. Having the unit on a shelf that's more at waist height I had to bend down to look inside to do the cleaning, I ended up accidently staring right into the internal (LED?) light and almost blinded myself in my left eye due to the short sharp close up blast of light, it ached for days. Never made the same mistake again, but I think I'd prefer it if the internal light was mounted in an inside side wall like my old LG !!. My second issue is fairly minor, unless you live somewhere that gets a lot of power cuts is to do with setting the clock. You can't set the units clock without disconnecting it from the power, switching it on again and then resetting the clock before you do anything else. So if you set the time wrong and want to do it again you have to power off, power on and try again. It's a first world problem but it does seem a bit stupid that the clock can't be reset with the unit still connected to the mains. Overall though very happy and would recommend.
I bought my LG 23L Neochef inverter microwave a few weeks ago. It is a sleek, black, well designed addition to my kichen. Ease of selection & delivery from Appliances online. Oven unpacked, placed on bench & old one taken away, all with a smile. I'm still getting used to the buttons, or lack of, compared to my old oven, the 'buttons within buttons' set-up takes getting used to. Basic heating-up, cooking oats, easy. Still need instructions for defrosting, melting etc. Love the more stable glass plate & rotating ring design. Very quiet when operating & LED light makes it easy to see inside while cooking in progress. Love the cute 'end of cook' warning & reminder when it isnt taken out immediately.

Always seemed to have plenty of power. My partner & I used it only to reheat food, mostly soups. However, despite minimal usage, and still looking like new, it has stopped heating. Everything else works. Gave no warning of failure. Tried unplugging, turning back on, clock reset, varying power output. Just won't heat. Phoned support and they wanted to book a technician, but even with an 8 year warranty, part only, on the magnetron, what's the use.
