Each night felt better and more normal on my face. At this point it actually feels very secure and kind of is almost like a signal to my body to go to sleep. It definitely blocks out 99% of light and actually helps me fall asleep much quicker because my partner in bed likes to fall asleep to watching videos (on silent but that brightness has always bothered me) and I wish that I had bought something like this years ago.Now I wear it every night and I know it has vastly improved my sleep. It absolutely helped me at the camping festival this past weekend that I originally bought it for.It has become less firm through wearing it and I have washed it twice in the carrying case and it’s still truly a game changer. I have recommended it to several friends at this point and a coworker of mine got it and loved it.This is a genuine review and I hope it works for you!! Happy sleeping :)

I slept like a rock first week I had this. I have blackout curtains in my bedroom already, but they weren’t quite blocking all the light. Enter the Manta (basic) Sleep Mask, with its comfortable velour adjustable headband, extra cushy Velcro-fastening foam eye cups covered in soft, comfy, breathable jersey fabric, and the best, most uninterrupted sleep I’ve had in years. Where has this mask been all my life, lol?The only thing is, I hope I can put it in the washing machine without it falling apart. I would really hate that. But for now, I love it to death!They make fancier ones, but I didn’t buy one of those. I just got the basic one for $35. It was money well spent! Do yourself a favor and try one of these as soon as possible!

I tried the standard Manta sleep mask I had bought her, and she and I absolutely love how you can move the eye cups around, and the Velcro to fit the mask strap around your head. I've not purchased my own mask because a lot of light shines through my blinds in the mornings and I'm really looking forward to using my own mask. Ordered several different eye masks in anticipation of an upcoming extended trip. I tried several brands and decided on another brand rather than Manta for personal reasons. I found the Manta to be extraordinarily well-designed, thoughtful, flexible and well-made. However the fit for me was not as good as the other brand I settled on. This is not the fault of Manta Sleep Mask inc, but rather attributable to individual variability. I would recommend the Manta as a great product with no reservation, but know that something like this will fit different people’s faces differently, as my experience illustrates.
I'm pretty satisfied with this sleep mask. I use it daily for last few weeks and i totally changed my sleep quality. I can finally sleep on my back. No more sun shining straight into my face at 4AM. This is especially important during the summer months. 100% darkness is a game changer. The mask soft and very comfortable.What I didn't like are the velcro adjustments. It's quite difficult to find a proper position of the eyecups and good belt tension. Adjusting these straps feels more like a lottery. With belt too loose the mask is leaking light. With belt too tight it's not comfortable. What I found out finally is that eyecups should be placed a little higher than the strap centerline. This should be a default setting. I mistakenly thought the original mask in pink would have the adjustable strap but it didn’t and it’s been uncomfortable to wear. Unfortunately I threw away the packaging otherwise I would have returned it. It would be great if all of the masks had the adjustable strap option especially if you have a larger head, a lot of thick hair, or wear scarves at night. I’ll be passing this cute pink mask along to someone else and sticking with the original. I went back to ye olde towel method for a few nights, and all was well, but if you have like, super sensitive sinuses (or are prone to infections), just a considerationNeeds to be washed right out of the package - this one isn't really fair, bc they tell you that right on the package, but I tried it on, briefly, anyways, right out of the box. I wanted to see if I needed to return it, but there was some chemical that made my eyes burn. I washed it and never had an issue again, but yeah. Do not try it on (or keep your eyes closed!) until you wash it for the first time.TL;DRLove, love, love it. Would get the gray instead of the pink, probably going to buy my mom one for Christmas.
I found the mask to be very comfortable when I put it on. Fit well on face and blocked out the light completely. Unfortunately it did not work at all for me when I went to sleep, I think because I'm a somewhat restless sleeper. First, the strap on my head wanted to slide around and up and off of my head. Second, when I rolled over on my side, which I do several times a night, the mask mashed into my face, which I found quite uncomfortable.I think if you're a back sleeper who doesn't move around a lot, it's a great idea. Or as a travel mask on a plane. But if you're restless and/or a side or stomach sleeper, it may pose some challenges.

It’s been so nice to have a breathable soft non irritating BLACKOUT for my eyes. My photosensitivity is so intense that I have to set aside time to keep as much light out of my eyes because of over stimulation. This was my first manta mask. It washes and wears well. It led me to order others. I cannot speak for others but for myself, it is essential to have a blackout mask. This is not only that but good with sensitive skin and made of soothing material. Customer service is SO kind and helpful. My overall experience is wonderful, thank you so much. My life is a little more manageable now.
