Marc Jacobs Daisy Love Spring 50ml EDT

This is the fragrance I’ve been looking for! I’m probably the only one around who hadn’t tried this. I’ve been trying out many samples, trying to find a specific scent; I’m not even sure how I came up with it, but I knew I’d know it when I found it. This is what I remember forget-me-nots smelling like as a child. It a little reminiscent of an old favorite, Devon Violets. Within a minute of trying this in an Ulta store today I had no hesitation in buying a bottle. It’s such a soft, gently sweet scent. It doesn’t have a lot of staying power, but this is one of the few I can spray in several areas and it’s not too strong. This is my only current 10/10 fragrance. Who doesnt love a pretty bottle of perfume When I first saw a bottle of Marc Jacobs Daisy at a store, I automatically put it on my wish list without even smelling the juice inside. The white, plastic flowers on the Marc Jacobs Daisy cap looked so kitsch, charming, and fun to me. It made me smile and I very much wanted to see it atop my dresser. I didnt get to buy it then, but was gifted with it a few months later, and even betterinstead of the regular bottle of Marc Jacobs Daisy, I got a wonderful limited edition silver bottle topped with golden flowers. It sure looks pretty Though it looks more mature than the regular edition bottle, this, to me, has a more vintage, womanly vibe. The Marc Jacobs Daisy perfume is in eau de parfum formulation instead of the regular editions eau de toilette, so its guaranteed to last longer and perhaps have a stronger scent, but aside from that and the bottle, it is still pretty much the same smell. Mostly what I smell first when I sniff Daisy is the lightness of strawberries. Not a sweet jam sort of strawberry, but mingling with florals and grapefruit, what I get is something fresh and lightyouthful is the word that pops into my head. Sniffing this, I can easily picture a pretty young girl laughing as runs across a field of flowers. It smells simple and carefree, nothing complicated at all. The subtle fruity notes fade as the heart notes emerge, and what I smell then is very floral, which I dont usually like, but surprisingly, I dont find it cloying. The mix of gardenia, jasmine, and violets make for a very feminine heart for the fragrance. The vanilla and musk make the perfume warm, and slightly sexy. I find Daisy nice to wear when Im feeling a bit more feminine than usual. It also makes me feel flirtatious and sexy, but its not too loud or musky that I feel uncomfortable wearing it. Just the opposite, I find it easy enough to wear during daytime, as well as at night.
