Maui Moisture Lightweight Hydration + Hibiscus Water Conditioner For

I had actually previously used this product before and did not have a good experience, but that was a long time ago and I thought I’d give it another try. I don’t know what it is in this product that is so extremely irritating to my scalp, but I simply cannot use it. I will say the conditioner is slightly less irritating than the shampoo but they’re extremely similar. It smells super sweet and amazing it’s probably my favorite scent of any hair care product I’ve used but there is some ingredient that does agree well with my scalp. No mineral oil, silicones, parabens, gluten, sulfated surfactants, synthetic dyes or ALES. It is for all hair types. You apply to wet hair, work through to the ends, wait 3-5 minutes and rinse. It is good for 18 months after opening and I do like how affordable and accessible this brand is. I really wanted to like this product but it simply does not work for me which is why I gave it only 2 stars which is mostly for the amazing scent.

I'm incentivized, I received these products for free from Influenster and Maui in exchange for my honest review. I loved them at first smell🤤😍 The fragance is delicious and relaxing. The bottle design is easy to use and nice. While using the conditioner the scent feels good and my hair feels soft. I would prefer a little creamer as my hair is very dry and I still need to use cream to comb my hair. As someone with curly hair, finding the right products can be such a challenge , but this duo really works tremendous well for me ! I've never used this brand before! First off the packaging is cute. The shampoo Conditioner smell good too - very light floral. Product looked thick but had a nice consistency was able to disperse through my hair easily. Rinsed out well lathered well. After towel drying blow drying - my hair did seem to look/feel softer and more hydrated, especially my dryer ends. Still had some frizz but was able to tame that with another product. Overall this is a good set I'm excited to see long term how it can improve my hair.

It wasn’t even a wash day and I decided to try it out! Because I have low porosity hair that is always thirst-deprived, I mostly co-wash my hair, which is washing my hair with conditioner because shampooing strips my hair of the moisture it so desperately needs. The bottle states that it provides hydration, which was a bonus and definitely sealed the deal on my decision to go through all if the trouble of washing my hair (if you’re a natural hair girly, you know that this is A LONG PROCESS and not built for weaklings or the faint at heart, solely due to how strenuous it is and how long it takes to detangle, pre-poo, wash, condition, deep-condition, style, dry, and/or prep it for bed — my, even putting it up in a pineapple is even a work-out for your arms!!)! Even knowing this is a J-O-B in of itself, I still could not wait to try it out because there’s nothing more that I love than good-smelling things, and my hair being one of them is ALWAYS what I’d like! And so, not long after I’d jumped in the shower to wash all of the possible COVID cooties off of me (yes, I am OCD!), I cracked open the bottle to conditioner and was immediately whisked away to what seemed like a lovely, tropical island where all things are fresh, sweet, and carefree! It literally is the lovechild of passionfruit and watermelon — yumminess in a bottle!! As soon as I saturated my hair with water and started to wash it, my hair literally felt like a newborn’s and was silky soft and lightweight, as well as smelling amazeballs!! I—LOVE—THIS—CONDISH! Any tangles that I had melted away, so I had to do minimum work detangling!! My final product felt like although it was not weighted down with greasiness, it felt properly and totally nourished and healthy feeling, it looked more glossy and shiny, while smelling like a Bahamian or Hawaiian island!! These results were mind-blowing, especially since my hair is low porosity, which means it usually suffers from lack of moisture and shine!! In summation, this conditioner is INDEED a staple of mine, no matter how much of a product junkie I am and how many products I still have on hand — Maui Moisture Lightweight Hydration Hibiscus Water Conditioner will DEFINITELY be amongst them all!!

I prefer the scent of watermelons in the summer and let me tell you, this smells more like watermelon than hibiscus. The conditioner bottle is beautiful. The shampoo felt hydrating until I had to rinse it off, which it then caused an almost friction sensation between my hands and my hair. It resulted in my hair feeling very dry. The conditioner helped with the hydration, but I do not apply it to the top of my head, which is where the shampoo left me most dry. Destroyed Hair so Badly It Broke off in Clumps!

I've never in my life had this experience before, even going without conditioner! While the shampoo was also damaging, for some reason the conditioner was worse! I've tried hundreds of products over the years and this was the worst I've ever encountered, the conditioner literally stripped my hair of moisture and made it so dry and brittle that it broke off halfway up my hair in about 1/3 of it! The worst conditioners I've tried just don't condition as well, but they've never done anything like this! My hair was more dry and brittle right after conditioning than before when I had just shampooed it.Really a bummer, it smells amazing but that's all it's got going for it..I bought two bottles of the conditioner as well as the shampoo, so that's about $22 down the ... MoreI've never in my life had this experience before, even going without conditioner! I don't want more of my hair to break off!I honestly don't even want to give the conditioner I have left to anyone as I'm afraid it'd damage their hair, too. Wish I had listened to the review saying as much but I figured it was just a fluke, it wasn't. I'll never buy from this company again.

I have used Maui shampoo and conditioner before and originally I was just trying to find the one I used to use for frizzy and unruly hair but I later realized it was not sold here at target. I went in person though and found this shampoo and conditioner and thought it was awesome. Like I said I used a different shampoo and conditioner from this brand but this one is amazing. I’ve noticed people saying it smells too strong but it only smells strong when you apply it when you rinse and dry your hair you barely smell it. I would recommend buying the same shampoo, it’s the same price and works amazing. Once I followed the instructions and rinsed and dried my hair I automatically new this would be my new all time favorite shampoo and conditioner. My hair type also didn’t fit with the other ones. My hair is kind of damaged but not severely. It also is completely straight and thick and I couldn’t find one for hair like that so I settled for this one. Overall I think this was an amazing purchase and would definitely recommend in fact I just told my friend about it and she’s buying it now!

What Moisture???

I've been wanting to try Maui Moisture for soo long and I waa sold after reading lots of positive reviews. I was looking for a hydrating conditioner and decided to try this one. I was extremely disappointed after applying this to my hair. My hair felt so dry even while applying it and it was so tangled while I was rinsing it out. I tried adding more product to see if it would help but it was pointless. It added no moisture to my hair. I don't even want to try any other products from this line. My hair was left soo dry, stiff, brittle and unmanageable. I do not recommend this at all. The only thing I give credit to this product the smell and packaging. However, I think that is how they attract people to their line. Never buying this again.
