Maui Moisture Nourish & Moisture + Coconut Milk Conditioner 385 ml

I used this with its shampoo counterpart and with other sulfate-free shampoos. I paid about $8 at Walmart and you can get the same deal or better at Ulta if you work the sale with their coupons. I was disillusioned quickly. It was my failure to thoroughly check the ingredient deck. This product contains a formaldehyde releaser and it is VERY heavily fragranced. My daughter and I both experienced an itchy, irritated scalp. The consistency of this product was very watered down: do not mistake its high viscosity as an indicator of the richness of emollients and lipids; this can be easily faked by adding thickeners- I allege this does just that. My daughter and I have the same type of hair though hers is a tad thicker being a lighter brunette, and mine being a tad thinner being a ginger-blonde freak of nature; she has less hair but I have more. Not too much of difference. The shorter we keep our hair, the wavier it gets; we both have long hair that is straight due to its weight. We used copious amounts of this product in an attempt to tame the ends of the hair but that did not help because the product is not very rich in oils and emollients. I purchased two bottles of the conditioner and used up one and passed the other along. I would not recommend this product if you have a lot of long hair and sensitive skin.I will not be repurchasing this product.

It’s VEGAN! If you are looking for a good deep kinda oily conditioner this is the way to go. It works really well for a over night mask. If you have really dry hair and you need something that’s oily this is what I recommend. This shampoo and conditioner is great it has coconut milk, coconut oil, guava oil, aloe Vera, and mango butter in it so you are getting a lot of moisture for dry hair. There is NO Mineral Oil, No Silicones, No Parabens, No Gluten, No SLS, No Sulfates, No Dyes, No ALES. It is ECO FRIENDLY AND VEGAN. Highly recommend!

5 🌟 to the Maui brand. I am trying all Maui shampoos and conditioners available on iHerb! These products are free from all the nasty ingredients that can wreck our hair and full of goodness from natural ingredients. This conditioner has a rich consistency and a light pleasant scent. I have long curly untreated normal hair with dry ends and this product works well for me. I shampoo my hair twice, remove any excess water, and then I apply the conditioner and leave it on for several minutes. I wash my hair 3 times per week and I often alternate this conditioner with other two (orange and fuchsia) from Maui available on iHerb website. I will buy more and highly recommend. Nice, not the best for coarse hair

This probably is better suited for people with straight, non textured hair. It’s a little bit heavy on coarse waves/curls. I have a water softener installed in the water system itself so I know for sure it’s the conditioner. It’s tough to separate curls or run your fingers through pieces even when your hair is still wet and flipped upside down in the shower. Tiny bit waxy, little heavy, little drier than usual.

Pretty packing, but damaging hair product!

Severely strips hair and dries it like its been chemically burned.my hair felt and styled like straw after each use. I would only recommend this product if the user has extremely oily hair. Also, the scent after use was borderline rank. I had to leave the fan on in the bathroom to move out the smell after showering. Aroma that comes from the bottle does not smell like that once applied.

Instead, they rely on more natural ingredients to produce the results they promise, like coconut milk and "100% aloe juice as first ingredient". (Maybe it's just me and my poor math skills, but I don't understand what that means. How can it be 100% aloe juice AND also contain coconut water or mango butter, let alone any other ingredients? What does "100% aloe juice" mean?) These products are also gluten-free and vegan.The Nourish & Moisture + Coconut Milk line is meant for dry hair, which it states right on its label. I thought it would be great to try on my hair, which is prone to damage and split ends. It does seem to be very nourishing, very moisturizing. The scent is a little disappointing to me. It's a nice smell, but not as amazing as I was expecting from something that is made with coconut milk and has "Maui" in its name. The texture of the conditioner is good, and it spreads throughout my hair easily, smoothly. It does feel like it is conditioning my hair thoroughly, loosening any tangles or snags and coating each strand with protective ingredients. And it rinsed out very well. I enjoyed using it!Unfortunately, however, I didn't see any great results in my hair. There was nothing wrong with my hair, but I didn't notice any extra body or shine or manageability. (To be fair, my hair overall is pretty healthy.) If anything, it may have weighed my hair down a little bit. I think that I may have chosen the wrong products from Maui for my specific hair needs, though, so it may be perfect for YOUR hair, especially if you have dry hair with a lot of damage.I wouldn't buy this again for myself, though I WOULD try different Maui Moisture products to find the right line for me. I might recommend it to a friend with dry hair.

Tangled Hair!

I used Olaplex for over a year and ABSOLUTELY loved it until my hair started turning dry and brittle. I am on the search for a new shampoo and conditioner and thought I'd try Maui again since I used to use it and love it as well. Well... unfortunately my hair came out to be EXTREMELY tangled after the shower - even with a leave-in conditioner and hair oil. My hair was tangled as if I didn't even put conditioner in it. Very disappointed, but it wasn't how it used to be. The smell is great though.

There's a Reason Why Maui Mositure is Recommended

I love all of the Maui Moisture products. I took a chance and started buying them after watching YouTube and the products were being recommended. I use different Maui Moisture shampoos and conditioners as needed and depending on how my hair is at the time of use (ie. I don't only use this product on it's own for a month at a time) and have noticed a big difference in my hair. Prior to using these products I was using other well known brands (not supermarket stuff) that I also still do like at times however Maui Moisture is currently my go to. Have been using for around 6 months.

Very impressed!!

I have long, thick, dry/damaged hair from coloring/bleaching and have been using olaplex for about a year. Lately my hair has felt dry and seems to be breaking and shedding a ton. I had bought some of this Maui shampoo/conditioner for my guest bath and figured I would just try it and I am seriously so impressed! My hair hasn’t felt this soft and manageable in months! I mostly use the conditioner because I use a color depositing shampoo for bright colored hair but have used the Maui shampoo a few times and thought it was great too! I do let the conditioner soak for a few minutes before rinsing, and have had food results both blow drying and wet styling.
