Metamucil Daily Fibre Supplement Smooth Orange, 30 Doses

Well packaged for logistical handling. I wish to use this as a supplement for increasing intake of fiber, in addition to eating more fresh vegetables and fruits. Hope to detox and set my LDL to a healthy level, plus the bonus of colon health.

This product sends my blood sugar through the roof, i.e. from 5.0 to 19.8mmol. The container says 'No added sugar' but the back of the container is impossible to read. There is no information regarding ingredients on this website. I am very unhappy with the product, mostly because this effect was unexpected, and there is no information to help me choose a better product. It is also expensive, and now I have a product that I can't use.

A pleasant experience

The Metamucil powder product has been a pleasant experience so far; my digestive health and regularity has always been very good and active, so taking the Metamucil daily I didn’t see any drastic changes. And being over the festive season, my diet in general wasn’t probably as good as it usually is, so maybe I didn’t get the full benefits.But it was enjoyable to drink daily and feel like I was doing good for my insides.

Great Product!

The packaging was great! It was easy to store in my drawer. It was well labelled. I could really see Metamucil. I like how it tells you on the front of the pack how it can help you. The orange colour on the packaging is really nice as well and it has nice pictures. It was really easy to open the lid and take the foil off. It was really easy to make the metamucil with water. The power looked great and it was a really nice orange colour. It tasted great with water.

Meta Mucil is a fantastic product to keep your gut healthy; Meta is an orange flavoured and super smooth drink, the total opposite compared to most psyllium products, which are thick and foul tasting..!After drinking this product 3 times a day (morning, noon & evening), for 2 weeks, I actually feel lighter on my feet & healthier..!I highly recommend Meta Mucil to anyone who wants to kickstand a healthy way of living..!

Not instant, but still showed results.

Not a bad product. Took more than a week to notice the effects, but in the second week I started to feel improved gut stability and become more regular with bowel movements. Taste is ok, not exactly a special treat, but easy enough to get down. Overall, it appears to fulfil its advertised benefits to at least some degree, so I could recommend it to anyone who does suffer from irregular bowel movements and general poor gut health or discomfort.

Taste isn't amazing but good benefits

My bowl movements have improved so its working in that regard, makes me feel better the days I have it however it is disgusting, thick & gluggy & difficult to swallow, I struggle and takes me longer then it should to consume. Tried to mix it in a cup of tea but it gets all thick and it turns to jelly type consistency. ‘Orange’ flavour description is misleading, very strong taste. It would be better if it was tasteless so it can be mixed with food. Cereal etc

The unexpected daily boost.

Metamucil is a great tasting drink that I can easily have daily with my breakfast ti start my day. The flavour is noticable without being too strong. I found I needed more water that the recommended amount for my taste. The texture took a little getting use to before becoming a daily drink. I would recommend this drink to my family and friends to complement a healthy lifestyle.

Who needs toilet paper?

Do not be fooled into thinking that other brands are the same as Metamucil cos they are not! I tried the others and they DO NOT do the same as this brand. I swear that my daily number 2's literally fly out of me and I barely need to use toilet paper anymore. Yes, it is THAT good. You save a tree as well as saving your guts. Ha ha ha.
