I work as an HVAC technician at a Hospital on Van Island. This bag has been awesome for the work I do, saves me push ing my tool box around as I can fix most issues with the tools I carry. I have had this bag for maybe a year. the zipper is cheap and broken already. For something that is going to be opened/closed repeatedly over its life time you would hope you could get a year or two out of it at least. Bags in perfect shape but now my tool pouch won’t stay closed so it is going to be garbage if I can’t find a way to fix it. Not very impressed for the cost of it. Metal zipper would completely fix this issue. At least on the tool pouch which is the main pouch used. I have treated this bag with care and somehow the zipper still screws up. The teeth are held together ... MoreI work as an HVAC technician at a Hospital on Van Island. I purchased the Milwaukee Jobsite Backpack (48-22-8200) to carry amplification gear for my acoustic music instruments. It is durable and spacious. The rigid bottom was a strong selling point--it won't tip over. It holds sheet music books, my iPad, my cables for amplification, pens, markers, tuners, strings, pre-amps, etc. I am very satisfied considering the price paid ($99.00). I saved over $120 compared to the d'Addario bag. To be fair, the d'Addario bag is still the absolute best in the industry, but I have money in my pocket without loss of functionality for my playing skill level. This is a great backpack for any number of uses.

Owner of Laabs Appliance Parts in Wauwatosa Wisconsin we love this bag use it every day on our jobs couldnt ask for much more! Only wish the zippers and zipper tracks were a little tougher. They seem to fail after everyday use and abuse around the 2 year mark but again that's after almost daily use. 5 star review because we get above and beyond average use from these bags. Our hope is one day in the future if ever there is an update to this bag or new model someone sees our suggestion and beefs them up because we will be buying Milwaukee Tool Products as long as there in business! -Jake

I weld for a living mainly in industrial settings. This backpack is perfect for everything I use everyday. Fits 3 Milwaukee fuel power tools; grinder, drill & die grinder in the main big zipper compartment. A few hand tools & 3 batteries; 5.0, 8.0, 9.0. Also fits a tig parts box perfectly in the other big zipper pocket. Fits my tig rig nicely in the very front open pocket. The backpack is made with quality materials all except the plastic buckles. They are fragile and break fairly easy (check the pics). This the only flaw and the reason it gets 3 stars. Milwaukee should really think about using steel instead of plastic because it can make this bag useless. I've tied the straps together to keep using this as a backpack. Bought 6 for our University AV team 2-3 years ago. We used to use laptop bags and had specialty task totes that we wouldnt bring to every ticket because they were cumbersome. We constantly are on the move and need our tools with us to cut down on revisits to classrooms for lacking the right tool for the job. The front pouch is great for carrying cables and projector lamp boxes. If your big item is too big for the pouch you can undo the strap to make a loop position (buckle would be even better.) The back compartment we use to carry 15” laptops or Surface Pro style machines safely. Molded base is great, you can open the bag up on a student desk and it wont tip over. Only addition we’ve made is a tape strap for velcro and electrical tape fast access. Main compartment ... MoreBought 6 for our University AV team 2-3 years ago. Only addition we’ve made is a tape strap for velcro and electrical tape fast access. Main compartment we use for handtools, power tools, and an assortment of hdmi, ethernet, aux and vga patch cables. Lastly, the only negative I have about the bag is the main compartment and back/laptop compartment are not fully separated at the base. This allows small parts to pass in and out of the compartments. Maybe the next version could be attached to the molded base for separation.
I am an outdoor (Plein air) painter and use this to carry my art materials to sites. I bought this pack end of May 2022 for my month long overseas painting trip. It held my supplies perfectly. It still looks brand new EXCEPT the seam began to fray at the zipper. I am hoping Milwalkee will honor their warranty. If not, then its just a loss. Would not buy another, sadly.
I had high hopes for this bag. Several of my coworkers had Milwaukee bags, and said nothing but good things about it. I decided to take the plunge and purchase this bag, however after only a few months of light usage the strap for the back pouch completely ripped off. Pretty disappointed as my other much cheaper Amazon bags seem to hold up better than these.
I use this as a regular backpack for carrying everything from documents to laptops even including a couple of tools. It seems to be exceptionally well constructed. All seams are tight and all straps well-sewn into folds of the sturdy material so as not to rip out. The "tub" bottom is a veritable dream! The backpack stands upright when set on the floor and the bottom is easy to clean. As a result, it does not tip over when set down and the bottom is easy to clean should it have been set down in places like public restrooms. I occasionally use the back flap for storing an overshirt or jacket. It fits with no problem under airplane seats, though it does impinge on the leg room a bit. After purchasing this backpack I was excited because I have always loved the Milwaukee line of products. After only a few months of use, the stitching on the zipper has come undone and it has made it very difficult to access tools and fully use the rear storage pocket. I've never really had any issues with previous backpacks that I have purchased so I am disappointed that this has happened. Hopefully this is not a common occurrence and just an isolated quality control incident.
I use this tool bag weekly, and it hasn’t been able to keep up the zippers unfortunately have broken. Personally I have enjoyed this bag and the design of it. The biggest thing about this tool bag that I love compared to some other competitors like Klein…is it has a hard plastic bottom and allows the tool bag to stay standing up and stable even with the zippers open. I’m writing this review today because the bag has officially broke, the zippers no longer work and have completely busted off. I’ve tired to have my bag serviced at a authorized dealer and I got turned away, and was told to use the website when I tired Using the “etool” warranty claim isn’t available for this bag. I wish it could be fixed or replaced but it seems as if when this bag breaks your out of ... MoreI use this tool bag weekly, and it hasn’t been able to keep up the zippers unfortunately have broken.
