I work as a maintenance technician at a university and this has been a game changer. I have a large Milwaukee work cart for my main building but I care for 3 other buildings that are located in upper campus. This is a perfect solution for carrying everything that I need with ease. The backpack makes it much easier to get things to where I need to go. I definitely recommend this product.

In roofing you need many random tools and a storage system that can take a beating. I’m a petite woman and my 80+ lb filled bag is easy to carry around. Comfortable design and durable. After 3 years of going around the country to different jobs there is only a small ~1” seam that came lose but it’s near the carry handle so the integrity has not been compromised. The handles with use of s clips hold a water can, chaulking gun, and all the random awkward tools. I have every spot packed including 3 hammers, 2 drills, high output battery, 3 drill bit boxes, tool belt and lots of hand tools and it all stays in place and still zips. This is definitely something I’d buy again if my current were to fall apart.

I’m a plumber and this pack holds all my necessary tools. It has just enough storage to hold misc. screws, bolts, p-trap gaskets, and drill bits without overloading the pack and making it to heavy. It has lasted longer then any other tool bag I’ve had in the past too. I’ve had it for 6 years and it is still in good shape. No holes or rips. My only complaint is that it leans forward now. It doesn’t stand up to well anymore.

I work outdoors doing Irrigation and need to carry most my tools with me. Bag was very comfortable on my back even with heavy tool (large channel locks/wrenches) I loved the amount of storage, it held everything I needed and items didn't fall out of holders. It didnt have a ton of zippered compartments (which I liked) so it was easy to find tools or see if something was missing. The material was very tough, easy to clean, and kept my tools dry. The hard bottom was nice and kept the mud/water from getting into the fabric/tools.However, after 2-3 months of use, the zipper was broken and the stitching is coming undone on one of the straps (leaving only one to carry heavy tools). I tried to get warranty service on it but got a run around including being told that backpacks aren't warrantied (the site says limited lifetime, that's why I bought it!). Id love to give it a 5 star but for price, how long it lasted, and no product support, I'll be generous with 2 stars.
Awesome backpack! It's exactly what i was looking for. It's sturdy and holds up well, my worn out service bag was lopsided from having heavier tools on one side, this one has pockets on both sides to even it out and plenty of room for more than I have...now to buy more tools to fill it up!
On Bag 3 in 2 years will be sending it in for warranty again. Anything that is plastic will break and the zipper will fail. Paying more for a better bag is worth it. Just picked up a Veto pro pac that some of my colleagues use and have lasted 8 years is more worth it.If you plan on only putting a few tools in it and not really into working then buy this bag but for the people that do work as a service technician it WILL not least you over a year.
At first this was an ideal backpack for work. Loved the hard bottom and well padded straps. Many great features and seemed durable. Was I wrong- this thing has fallen apart at the stitching in several places in less than 6 months of light use. The stitching appears to be the weak link. There appears to be no way to get warrantee coverage either- which is one of the main reasons I’ve always bought Milwaukee. It’s tough and they stand by their products. Unless it’s a $100+ backpack.
Journeyman Plumber here. I've used this backpack for 13 months now (Christmas present from 2018) and I am not impressed at all. I do service calls all day every day, both indoors and outdoors, so I carry a fair amount of tools both large and small. I'm in Wisconsin so I appreciated the hard bottom when I need to set the bag down in the snow. At first I was very happy with the bag. Looked good, felt good, held all my tools and then some. However after about 4 months one of the clips broke on the shoulder strap, leaving one strap to carry all my tools. I was able to tie off the strap and still use both straps but what an inconvenience. THEN, the clip for the other strap broke. I tied that one off, too. THEN, the original broken clip broke all the way, so now I have one tied off clip holding all my tools when I carry the bag over my shoulder. In addition, my tools keep falling through the holes that are now in the tool pockets, the main zipper isn't lining up correctly (creating a small hole at the top of the bag for water or mud or the aforementioned snow to get in), the tape measure clip is hanging on by a thread and the bag wants to fall forward CONSTANTLY. I understand I am by no means easy on my backpack, but I have co workers with other brands of similar packs and they do not have the problems I do, even with older or similar aged packs.I will be contacting Milwaukee to see if there is anything that can be done for warranty. Maybe I will be pleasantly surprised and they will stand behind their stuff? In the meantime I'll keep throwing tools in the pack willy-nilly because the pockets have holes in them and don't hold anything anyway. Hope the strap holds out long enough to get a new pack.
I am a 3rd year HVAC apprentice. After about 2 months of use the left side of the bag got a permanent crease in it and so the bag leans forward badly when the bag is fully opened. In order to retrieve tools i must support the bag with one hand and fumble for tools with the other hand. For the money theyre asking for the bag I thought i would hold up better. I didnt even have that many tools in it. Unloaded the bag feels fine on your back, but once it is loaded you can really feel the weight. The bag is a bit cumbersome just to put on your shoulders when loaded. Once on your back it just doesnt feel ergonomic. My main gripe is the creased left side of the bag causing it to lean over.
The design of this bag is amazing, love all the storage. The issue many people are having is the zipper. My zipper started coming apart about 15 months after owning it. I still use it but I do loose took because the zipper doesn't close.
