Disappointed; Purchased the roller pack out and several other pieces for my husband last oct 2020, he uses these tools daily, discovered they are not water proof for long, bottom roller pack out had 2 inches of standing water, destroyed a Milwaukee grinder, Milwaukee fuel sds drill, Milwaukee 18v impact drill, Milwaukee 18v dual charger and 2 Milwaukee 18v 5.0 batteries. I have reached out to the company via email sept 6,2021 with no response. Very disappointed in the quality of the seals. Lots of money destroyed. These are tools that he needs for his work.

As far as Packout compartments go. It’s great. I like how it’s just a big box. You’re not losing space because of wheels and you have this compartment that does have locks on the bottom if you want to out it on a cart. I myself keep mine at the shop and it holds all my power tools that I normally don’t need. I got a drywall gun, router, jigsaw, hammer drill, circular saw, grinder i used to keep my level in there too. But I recently picked up the M18 Surge and it’s sitting in there in its case on top of all that. My only complaint is that mine didn’t come with any organizer trays. Which isn’t a big deal. I just want more of them.

Durable and should last a long time. Pulled the trigger and ordered this for my man. He looked at them whenever we were at the store but already had a different brand smaller one he had for years. Bought 3 pieces as Christmas gift and he bought the crate to add to it. He likes it.

I appreciate the versatility of this toolbox. However, I do wish there were more options available for storing batteries within or on top of it. Fortunately, I was able to find a packout battery caddy on Etsy, which is a bonus. Overall, with or without the caddy, this is a top-notch, durable, and high-quality toolbox.
I purchased five packout boxes to carry my overland gear in my 4x4. Tire gear, cooking gear, electrical. They all have their own box where everything is clean, dry and easily accessible. I love how rugged and sturdy the structures are and the bonus removable trays just complement the purchase. I bought the two drawer box which is perfect for my fishing gear as well. The low profile clear top packout allows me to see and access fasteners and other small components without having to look through countless containers. I love the convenience and versatility. The best part, when I remove them from my rig, they all stack and lock together in my garage until the next adventure. A+ rating.
I also got the extra large toolbox and two of the large toolboxes and one of the large smaller organizers for my screws. I absolutely love this set up. I am so much more organized and I can take all my tools in on the job site easily and organized. I highly recommend this pack out system. It’s a little pricey but it’s worth it in my opinion. Highly recommend! It is truly water proof. Heavy duty. Like how u can lock smaller boxes on top.
I bought the stack when they first came out. They were $299.00 but the store had them on sale for Christmas for $199... Which is all they are worth to begin with. I am an architect/General contractor and Farm owner. I would never leave any tool box out in the rain. I would not work in the rain unless the farm machinery was broken in the field. I did live up in Western Washington State where we got rain and there were times I could not stop a cement pour or truss crane because of the rain. I have never read where the pack out boxes are water proof. If you are in construction drive a van or have a enclosed construction trailer. I am always running into workers that don't have the tools they need. Everything gets stolen that past 30 or 50 years. If you do commercial remodeling the pack out can be a great solution.
I ordered the packout system from the other side of the country and it arrived early. Love the packout gear. Fits my needs for work and travel. Keep my car safety gear in the three drawer on the back of my Subaru. Been using this stuff in construction for two years and it’s just getting better and better.

I bought two of these. There is so much room in them. One is now part of my routing stack, where I keep all of my routers, various bases, sub-bases, wrenches, jigs and bits. The other is in my doors and floors stack and holds bulky items like my rolling knee pads and double knee dolly. You’ll find a use for it so, you may as well get it. We all have things in our kits that are too bulky for the other sized boxes. Oh, and it is of course the same quality build as the rest of the Packout system, which is amazing, in my honest opinion.
