Now Foods Liquid Lanolin Pure - 4 oz

This is the most effective thing for chaffing I have ever used. Have painfully dry, cracked skin? Use this stuff at the end of the day. BUT it’s suuuper sticky. Like hard to spread, stain everything you touch attract every bit of dust in the air kind of sticky.

Liquid lanolin is difficult to find , but NOW has it and I was able through the WEB to find that Fruitfield will carry it! NOW sent them what I wanted and they called as soon as it was received. They mailed it to me, as I do not have a car anymore, so traveling around depends on when my son can take me. I wanted to try this product in conjunction with both olive and peanut oils for a sprained knee and its pain. I do use it for arthritis and it takes it away! So thanks Fruitfield! I am using it now.

Liquid Lanolin with sheep scent. This product is a great quality moisturizer for sensitive skin. I use it once a day for my face and hair. Sometimes, I mix it with lavender essential oil for more benefit and deeper nourishment, or sometimes with body lotion. It comes in a lovely size clear bottle package.

Excellent, long-lasting lubricant. Highly reccomended!

This is the easiest to dissolve liquid lanolin I have tried for my lubrication for sizing brass. Stays in solution well for long times and does not precipitate like many brands do. It lasts a long time and is easy to remove with ISO when the forming is complete. One bottle lasts for several months of part time forming brass with very little worry of getting stuck in the dies.

Sticky but good

Nice to use in lip balm; works especially well for dry chapped lips. Good size, and the liquid form is convenient. No noticeable smell. The bottle does get sticky; no way around that — just keep it in a small plastic bag so the mess doesn’t spread.

The Oil That Keeps On Giving

I initially bought lanolin to add to my homemade cosmetics. Versatile and so easy to use….

I started using lanolin to (heavily) treat/waterproof my wool diaper covers. This lanolin dissolves instantly in hot, soapy water, and I've never had any of the spotting problems other people talk about. I've been so pleased that I've started soaking my wool socks, wool hiking clothes, and (occasionally) my cashmere sweaters, too, because the lanolin really softens the fibers, moisturizes the skin underneath, and naturally repels water. I loved the way my hands felt after treating the wool, so now I dab a tiny bit on my hands from time to time, and it really protects my hands from over-washing, rather like "liquid gloves." I live in an extremely cold, dry, severe climate, which destroys our skin. It's almost impossible to get products to absorb through the dry, top layer, but this lanolin does an amazing job. The liquid form is even easier to use.

Very hydrating

Just a drop is enough around the eyes area. I like it at night as hydrating oil. In winter, because of the dryness from the heating system, it keeps my skin soft. I like this version of liquid lanolin, it does not smell mutton like the thick lanolin in the jar. Liquid is also so much lighter in texture. They are both efficient to sooth dry skin and attenuate fine lines.

with glycerin cannot be beat

I put a few drops of lanolin in my palm and a few drops of Now glycerin on top and then mix the two together. I apply it to my neck, face (I have oily nose and forehead and it seems to soften without adding to oil production) and all over my body especially really dry places. I often do this at night and then put on socks. I put it on my hair 1 hour before shampooing.The difference is unbelievable. From rough, scaly skin to dew soft. My hair changed from bristle dry at the ends to soft. I do apply a conditioner after shampooing and it seems to be able to do its job much better.I considered the jar which looks like a better price break, but I like being able to drip a couple of drops so I will stick with this.
