Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard Gainer 10lb / Vanilla

Disclaimer: I workout first thing in the morning, 5 days a week. On deployment so I eat whatever is being served. Also take Gold Standard Whey 3x a day, C4 Ultimate, and one serving of quadra lean._x000d__x000d_I ordered a bag of colossal chocolate along with a 45oz shaker. My biggest concern about starting a gainer was the mixability since I don't have a blender or anything out on deployment. I was pleasantly surprised that I was able to get everything broken down within my shaker (no blender ball). The taste took me by surprise. Rather than other chocolate shakes I've tried, this one tasted like chocolate cake batter or brownie batter, can't really complain about that. Rather than other chocolate shakes I've tried, this one tasted like chocolate cake batter or brownie batter, can't really complain about that. I just used an 18oz bottle of water so it was pretty thick and tough to put down. After 10lbs of this, I have noticed my physique has filled out a little more which I'm happy with. I've also been able to keep my body fat in check while on this. Unfortunately, I can't comment on my weight since we don't have a scale out here. I'll stick with this for a couple of months and see how I'm doing in terms of strength gains._x000d__x000d_I just started a bag of cookies and cream and it mixes way easier than the chocolate does, nowhere near as thick. The taste isn't as bold as the chocolate, but this is probably the closest cookies and cream flavor I have ever tasted in a supplement. I was a little bummed this is down 4g of fiber and a few other things that the chocolate has.

Overall pretty decent protein, im a pretty slim dude so when I seen the hefty 770 calories in a shake PLUS the 55 grams of protein, boy did this catch my attention. I had the PRO Gainer before which has about 60 grams or so of protein and around 650 calories, so when I made the switch I thought I was doing my body a favor but boy was I wrong. I need to take 2 full scoops to even get the 770 calories as opposed to the PRO Gainer by optimum nutrition which is just one serving. Not to mention this thing was hella sweet. I don't know how I would be able to do 2 scoops a day, and that's considering I mixed it with water. I can't imagine how it would taste with milk but then again it's worth the try. If you're looking for a clean tasting hydrolized Gainer I recommend the ... MoreOverall pretty decent protein, im a pretty slim dude so when I seen the hefty 770 calories in a shake PLUS the 55 grams of protein, boy did this catch my attention. If you're looking for a clean tasting hydrolized Gainer I recommend the PRO Gainer hands down. The MASS Gainer by ON carries over 1,000 calories I believe, but you can low key taste the cheapness. 3 stars for the product, an extra star for Campus Protein's clean prices that's the only reason why I'm rating 4 stars.

This protein is one of the best gainers I have personally tried.Looking at the ingredients, you can see that this Gainer has a nice blend of medium-fast absorbing proteins. It also uses whats called 'Carb 10' (taken from Peas) for quick digestion & muscle absorption. Also has a good level of Amino Acids, and a decent amount of calories per scoop (can definitely get other gainers that have more calories per scoop, however this comes without that bloated feeling). This gainer is best suited to those who want to put on weight, but still want to maintain a somewhat lean figure. In summary, this is a fantastic product. I'd defintely recommend this to anyone looking to add weight. It has a unique blend of high quality ingredients that you dont often see in other gainers, it doesnt leave me feeling bloated, and it actually works! If you're looking to get into this, I'd recommend for you to get the cookies and creme flavour. its by far my favorite flavour. Very rich and creamy.
