We recently got this for our 12 year old senior lab/shepherd/rottie mix who's showing her age every day. She was on a more affordable senior diet but she would take all day to finish her breakfast and wouldn't be as enthusiastic for walks anymore or be as playful with our other dog. I decided to try this diet out even though it was much more expensive and now she's gobbling up her meals in one sitting and licking her bowl, wrestling with our other dog again, and pulling on our walks again. Not making a claim that this food can do a full 180 on your dog but we can tell there's been some change in her since we got her on this diet. We're hoping this new diet, although pricey, can give her a few more years!

My Patterdale Terrier is already 14 years old, almost 15. I was so so happy when I found this food. I loved that it included ground bone and cartilage and I noticed a big improvement in my dogs soreness (she also takes supplements) and energy. The last couple bags my dog has needed major coaxing to eat it, she also has been more sore lately then she has been and has been chewing her paw pads and legs constantly. After going to the store and seeing they raised the price by $14 dollars per bag I was upset. I was more upset to see the formula has been COMPLETELY CHANGED. It’s not even worth what it costs before, let alone now $100 a bag before tax. This is now no longer as good and my dog won’t even eat it. My dog Skrillex has been on origin now for about five years and he loves it we have noticed a lot of positive outcomes from switching over to this food such as his gastrointestinal health is awesome now he’s a real picky eater like I can’t buy food from big box stores such as target Walmart Hannaford his stomach just will not allow it. the cheapest he’s ever had where it doesn’t mess up his stomach was Merrick, but because he’s so picky he won’t eat it anymore. So this was kind of like a last resort and he loves it even five years later. His energy levels are still high at almost 10 years old. His coat is hella Shiny and he seems so alive and well! First time I presented this to Groot he ate it up, with absolutely no add ins! I waited to write this so my dog Minnie had a chance to experience it for a a few days. The minute I opened it, she appeared interested by sniffing the package. I gave her a few dry kibbles and she immediately pawed my leg for more. I've been slowly transitioning her over to it and are presently at 1/2 old food 1/2 new Orijen senior. She's acclimating without incident. I know it's early, but her energy has certainly improved! No bowel issues at all. Minnie is 13 years old and now is 13 years young.

I tried ORIJEN Senior Dog 4.5 LB Dry Dog Food for my dog.I like that they use the best ingredients available in this kibble, and that it's 85% quality animal ingredients.They use fresh and raw ingredients without adding any unnecessary fillers or anything overly processed.You can feel good about giving Orijen dog food to your dog and that they will be getting the proper nutrition from it.It was easy to transition over to Orijen and my dog seemed to enjoy this dog food very much.Overall this is a great high quality dog food that would help your dog look and feel their best.

He’s not picky at all when it comes to fresh meat, but kibble has always been a hard sell. This is the first kibble in his lifetime that he eats with very little coaxing, and he actually seems to like it.
