Super convenient way to make a curry with a kick. Some other madras curry jars can lose all the flavour to the spice, but this curry still has a vibrant deep flavour with the heat not being overpowering. Prepared it at a dinner party and even some of my spice hating friends were able to enjoy this beef Madras.

Very simple way to make a fantastic tikka masala. Has got a few more steps in the recipe compared to a standard curry sauce jar, which make you feel like you're doing some "proper cooking". I would advise ensuring you include the double cream and I tried it with and without and the curry was much more enjoyable when the cream was added.

I generally eat milder curries but every now and again I do fancy a spicier one. I am not an expert making a hot curry sauce so much easier to buy a jarred version like this one. This sauce has lots of spicy kick to it and was just what I was after for my hot curry fix! It was so simple to prepare a tasty curry. I made it for me and a friend, even got asked if the sauce was homemade, it was that good! Beyond impressed with this product.

So simple and easy to use and for a small jar it goes a long way. As we only need half and I wasn't sure how long the paste would keep in the fridge, I froze the other half for later use. You can follow the instructions on the jar or adapt to your own personal taste. It's great for using up the left over chicken from a Sunday roast.
I love a good curry and a madras is one of my favourites. One night recently I was doing one of those 3 step madras curry kits I had got as far as the paste and cooking the veggies in it and the smell it gave off had me salivating, I finished making the curry with the sauce and next week had ordered this and used it when frying potatoes, onions, tomatoes, garlic, chilli in it and been working out the right amount to use for what and found a slightly heaped teaspoon is enough with a little water to coat what is cooking without it being too potent. Only had the jar 2 weeks and only one portion of paste left in the jar which I keep in the fridge it is very moreish and so easy to keep and use.
Really handy to have in the cupboard. Used it for making a slow cooked beef madras. Browned stewing steak in frying pan added the madras sauce, tin of cherry tomatos and a courgette chopped up in large pieces. Put it all in the slow cooker and left it for a good few hours. Think because I had added the tomatoes it toned down the chilli heat but the spices came through lovely. Great that the sauce is gluten free and vegan so a really good vegatable curry can be made. Easy to use, would buy again.
This jar holds 450g of sauce so it is plenty for everyone. It serves 4. The Madras sauce is pretty hot, but really full of flavour. It has cooking instructions at the back which makes it super easy to follow and get a perfect result. Anyone can make it which makes it a great dinner. The jar and lid is recyclable. I can recommend this sauce if you like your dinner with some spicy heath.
They call it spice paste rather than curry paste like before. The spice paste is not paste but a thick gooey sauce. A difference in smell and taste from the original paste. But as there are no original paste now - we’re stuck! A great shame.
This sauce is sooooo easy to use. I just made a very simple curry with chicken, onions & peppers. It was ready to serve in less than half an hour and was super tasty. No take away required! It is hot so if you are sensitive to spice cool it down with some tinned tomatoes.
This is as authentic as they get - tasted like our favourite takeaway. Lovely amount of chilli heat, cardamom and coriander. I sizzled it with chicken on low heat for a few minutes before adding in the tomatoes and a bit of cream. Absolutely wonderfully spiced chicken. A staple for us.
