Philips Hue White Ambiance GU10 Triple Pack - White, White

These lights work very good. I have close to 12 distributed around my house and when the power has gone out many time this year, I have good lighting and do not need to light candles. I have ordered two times to get my supply of 12 and have had one light in each order not work properly. I have sent those back and am waiting on a replacement so I cant comment yet on the replacement service from who I ordered from. I would highly recommend these to anyone.

Amazing smart lights

I've been looking at the Philips hue range for years but I just couldn't justify the price tag. Besides I had no intention of shouting 'Alexa' every time I want to switch a light on. Nothing wrong with a light switch.However, our television is hanging flat against the wall with wires hidden away and it looks wonderful but a bit dark part of the room. I didn't want the clutter of a floor lamp that directed the light in wrong direction anyway. It was then that we decided to invest in a Philips hue light strip behind the television. The reflected light against the wall is so amazing and it's so easy to use via an app. We therefore decided to look into all the light options and in the end replaced all the lightbulbs in our living and dInning room with Philips hue light ... MoreI've been looking at the Philips hue range for years but I just couldn't justify the price tag. All lights are set up in the colour and mood we like and switched at the same time via timer or app. The system is expensive though hence the 4 stars not 5, but overall worth it.

Excellent product - expensive but value for money in my view

As an existing user of a number of outside Hue lights I had not considered using the GU10 for my internal room lights. I used these in my hallway and they took seconds to install and they connected to my Phillips Hue App with ease. The controllability of the light brightness and shade is excellent and we have actually decided to upgrade our larger kitchen/diner area with these lights. This will allow us to have separate controllable zones that will be especially useful for entertaining. The only negative is the high cost so we will be doing a bit of saving before the upgrade.

Fit into standard 'Up & Down' outdoor wall lights

Connected immediately to my Hue Bridge, even though they are outside the house. The default warm white is identical to the bulbs they replaced. The software updated within a couple of days as is normal with Hue bulbs, although I did force a manual update to speed up the process. The bulbs fit into standard 'Up & Down' stainless steel outdoors wall lights.Now I can automate the lights to come on at Dusk and switch off at a particular time. I probably won't use the 'cooler white' capability as I prefer the cosier warm white. I now have quite a collection of Philips Hue bulbs connected to my Philips Hue Bridge, both coloured ambience, warm white and white ambience. The Philips Hue App is brilliant and so easy to use. Great bulbs . Pricey but quality

These bulbs are great. They are pricey compared to others but they are quality. I use these as they work well with apple HomeKit. They also last ages. Haven’t had to replace one yet.

Great product!

We already had some of these, and bought some additional to give us enough for our new kitchen layout. These are a great product, allowing for complete flexibility in how you set up the lights. We also have ours connected with Alexa, enabling us to control the lighting via voice command too. The flexibility in the brightness and the colour of the light is great. We will be purchasing more as we renovate other rooms in the house.

It is very bright and the hue comes with a very easy to use app/software. The kit only comes with 3 light bulbs but most light fixtures has 4 light fittings so you will need to purchase an additional light bulb but be careful with the bulb you purchase as there are the colour version or just warm/cool version - make sure you purchase the like for like light bulb. Love Hue bulbs

Just great for controlling how much light is given out. Slowly converting all the bulbs to Hue. The colour ones are great in the main living areas, but the white ones are great in other areas such as bathroom and kitchen and porch.

Obviously you can switch lights, zones or rooms on/off or control brightness and colour. There is also plenty of functionality if you want to do something a bit more with your lights, like add automations or create scenes (configurations of multiple lights). If controlling your lights from your phone isn't for you, there are plenty of physical switch options available too.

The best bulbs

Hue bulbs are the best. So easy to use and set up. You don't even need to input the serial numbers, just search and it finds them all and blinks with each new one. Can set them up individually, as a room and a zone. Can all be set to different brightness and colour. We have them all over the house in lamps, wall lights, outside light and have just put 12 of these in our new kitchen. Great for accessing remotely too, so the lights are on when you come home, or are away. Would thoroughly recommend.
