Proactiv’s Green Tea Moisturizer is a lightweight moisturizer for breakout-prone skin. Though if you’re particularly sensitive to alcohol and fragrance, this one might be one to skip. It is agreeing with my skin so far, but I’m not particularly acne-prone, so I worry that in the longterm it might be a bit much for me to use alongside the other actives in my regular routine. I don’t know if it’s something I would actually purchase for myself, but I’m also not exactly the target audience.

This is the only thing you need from the proactiv set and a MUST HAVE if your breakouts become uncontrolled without treatment. You are free to use whatever cleanser and toner you prefer. Then slap this on for the night to kung fu all the acne bacteria. I wish someone showed me earlier that I don't have to use the cleanser and toner and can buy the repairing lotion separate because there's many better options out there to cleanse and tone with. Since benzoyl peroxide is pretty harsh, I like to use gentle, natural and sulphate free cleansers instead. Never ditch this treat lotion though. This is the main event for people with acne.

I received this complimentary sample in the mail about a week ago and OH MY GOODNESS ! This moisturizer is by far the best thing I’ve used on my skin! It feels light on the skin, doesn’t have that oily feeling and doesn’t have any harsh smells to it! Once applied, my skin took a couple of minutes to let it sit absorb and it was rather refreshing. If you’re looking for a moisturizer to use under makeup this is definitely the one! It won’t feel like you have tons of product just as you’re about to apply even more product to your face if that makes sense. You can also use it on its own so that pretty awesome! really smooth refreshing moisturizer that doesn’t make my skin super oily. it smells minimally and is nice and fresh. cool to touch. leaves my skin feeling soft and hydrated. I will definitely be incorporating this into my every day skincare routine. was surprised how much I enjoyed it because I am not acne prone so I would have never thought to buy myself a proactiv moisturizer. I would absolutely recommend this moisturizer to every single one of my close friends and acquaintances. it was light weight and left my skin feeling fantastic. I am using it every day and I am finding that it is leaving my skin nice and soft to the touch but not too oily which can often be a problem for my skin and complexion.

I have never used Proactiv before, but was excited to try these products. My skin had occasional breakouts, but has been feeling congested and dry due to the weather changes and wearing my mask. That being said, this product is great! It’s very lightweight and feels like a serum going on. A lot of times benzoyl peroxide can really dry out my skin but this has not been my experience. I use this with the Green Tea Moisturizer and I really like the results. My skin feels healthy and moisturized and the texture from congestion is less visible after a few days. Product price point is a little high for the ingredient list, but I feel like it’s showing me great results!

Has a strong scent, but it’ll do for now.

It took longer to arrive than I was told. This has a scent in it that I’m not familiar with and I’ve used this product for over 10 years. I’m allergic to scented products, so disappointed in that. It doesn’t have the same ability to soothe my skin like this product has in the past. Not sure what’s up. I’ll still use it. The price of this stuff is ridiculous.

Honestly have to find a new product.

Formula has changed, I have aged as well but doesn't seem to work like it used to. I remember before getting to a point where Icould use it once a day and just use soap and water the 2nd time and I was fine. But even with 2 applications my skin is way more oily and prone to breakouts with the new formula. I was hoping it would restore my skin like it used to but it doesn't meet my expectations this time around.

The only thing that works without a script

I used proactive 15 years ago when I had my first break out as a teenager and am still breaking out at 32 to this day. I've tried every product under the Sun and in between. This seems to be the only topical cream that makes a big impact without a script. When you put it on you can feel it tingling and what literally feels like dissolving the bacteria on my skin. With the warm weather coming up, it has a tendency to exacerbate my acne. This is a real winner that keeps things at bay. Not sure why other BP irritates my skin, but this just works. I recommend only applying to your problem areas.

The repair works well. Your micro scrubbing balls are not good for the environment and will not use them ever again. I having been ashammed and speak out about what they do to others. The beauty industry should know better. Science, beauty and environment have faced off before. They should be working together on individual health, planet health and science to make safer products for us inside and outside.

my fave for acne

Have used Proactiv for probably 25 years now. While I no longer use the 1face wash & I have actually never cared for the 2Toner I have always used this 3treatment. Benzoyl Peroxide compared to salicylic Acid works better for my skin. My skin is T-zone oily & normal on my cheeks. I use different face wash/toner (clinique products) & this #3 on my acne prone areas as needed (I don't use every day only when I have acne) I use very little at a time so it last long. Using too much results in dry, rough peeling skin so when it's like that I don't use until it gets normal again. My 16 yr. old has skin like mine & she uses it but, my 14 yr. old has dads skin (more normal) she does not like this product. My 10 yr old uses it when she has a tiny pimple & it helps her.
