I bought this blender for my daughter to make fruit smoothies after our old Breville blender broke after many years of use. We put in the milk and frozen berries and turned it on to level 2 as per the instructions, however, all it did was turn around the mixture, it didn't blend anything. We tried a few times with the same result and it also leaked milk out the side. I phoned the company but they weren't interested and told me to just return it, Do not recommend.

I’ve never had a blender before and wasn’t sure what to expect but this easily exceeded my expectations.It was easy to use and load. Also blended really well and no where near as loud as I was expecting. The consistency of the smoothie blend was phenomenal and my mum said the same and she’s used a few blenders in her time! The cups measurements on the jug make it easy to measure and it’s so easy to clean with most of it going in the dishwasher.

I bought the blender a few weeks ago and only used it once. The jar didn’t seem to fit into the base so I moved it around and the soup I was blending poured out. It’s made of different parts for easy cleaning which I didn’t realise. Once I’d cleaned up it blended the soup v well.
Worst thing I have every purchased. DO NOT BUY IT. It doesn't blend a thing. The blades are not long enough. Taking back!
Ive had this blender for about 7 weeks and its broken fully now. And well its got amazing power to blend, best power in a blender Ive had before so recommend for that part but it does have major issues... Its leaking black stuff everywhere out the bottom of the jug. Kinda like grease? And the rubber seal around the lid keeps sliding and falling off but that's no biggie as I can easily put it back on. Its a very noisy blender, loudest Ive had! The bottom of the jug gets very hot quickly within a minute so you cant blend for long. It started smoking a few weeks back from the heat under the jug and this morning its finally left a burnt out rubber seal on the base of the blender. First use and milk everywhere over the kitchen bench as there was no seal supplied with the unit. First time purchasing a Russell Hobbs product and it was an epic fail. No further purchases of your products will be made in the future as quality control apparently isn’t a thing with Russell Hobbs.
Love the new features, removal of the silicone seals that didn't sit properly and discolouredbut I put it together myself and spilt my lovely soup all over the stove, didn't tighten it completely. My male housemate put it together for me, I blended my soup, then I couldn't get it apart to clean it, even with my rubber gloves on (for grip). I hate being dependent on a man just to blend MY soup! Great for men with strong hands.
Needed to replace my 5 Speed Breville Blender.Hadn't ever bought Russell Hobbs before so was a bit apprehensive.Only the first day, but this blender has already exceeded all my expectations.Used it for: Fruit smoothie, veggie smoothie, cooked veggies blended into a chicken broth for veggie soup.The results far exceeded anything I got with the Breville. With the Breville fruit & veg did not blend to a smooth liquid. With this device there are no bits of fruit & veg. It's a proper smoothie! Even better than a Nutribullet I had prior to the Breville.
It is an affordable price, it's aesthetically pleasing on my countertop and matches against the white tiles and black stovetop. It is so easy to use and blends a smoothie in no time at all. It's value for money because it can puree food and crushes ice.
