Quiet, fast boiling and really well balanced (had a breville but very similar look prior and the handle was positioned so the balance didnt work when pouring). The balance issue was the bonus and really makes a difference

Thought it would hold more then 2 cups of tea worth of water but other then the capacity, it does what it says it does with filtering water and the water is hot after boiling Only issue is the capacity but otherwise good product

Best way to wake up!

Concerned about BPA free plastics

I bought it yesterday but just realized it didn’t say the plastic part contacting water is BPA free, a bit concerned now. Other models specifically said it is BPA free. I have a young baby at home so this is a crucial feature to me.

Doubles as a Brita water filter jug

I’ve only owned this for a week but so far I love it. I got this when it was on special at Target for $63.20. It’s an attractive jug. The novelty blue light does not turn all the water blue as appears in the picture, it just lights up at the base of the jug. My favourite feature is the built in (and removable) water filter. I like that I can also use it to filter my regular drinking water and I top up my water bottle and the water jug in the fridge with it. The water filters through pretty quickly and it’s easy to just top it up after use if you don’t want to wait. The only negative is that it’s pretty heavy. I think an elderly person would struggle with it. The water filters also have to be replaced monthly. I’ve found them cheapest in a 6 pack from Bunnings.

Good Kettle, but why can't it be repaired?

We bought this kettle a month or so ago. It is pretty good and the brita filter is an interesting option. It does sometimes drip condensation which is not that much of a deal, but it would be nice if this could be engineered out. It is good to use but rocks a little on the base which detracts from the overall quality of the kettle. And, why can't all companies including RH make these appliances serviceable? Yes, yes, I hear you - it would cost extra to manufacture and you have to hold and distribute the service parts. But isn't that the challenge? In this day and age, shouldn't we be trying to move away from the throw away society of recent times?

Great kettle

Looks great and works well! Relatively quiet, but can take a little while to filter depending on how much water you want to boil, although it's not slow enough to bother us.

Quiet and Clean

I love the filter but you can use the kettle without filter if you need to. This kettle is quiet and my coffee genuinely tastes better.

Love this kettle! We prefer the filtered water but it can be removed if you need to quickly refill for multiple cups, otherwise I just refill the filter cup after use and let it drip through. Filters need to be changed approx every 4-6 weeks, depending on usage. Easy to use, looks great, quick to boil.
