This tool blasts through that and literally runs for 2 hours on a single charge (4Ah battery) without slowing down. I’m not a fan of having multiple battery systems but for this tool I made the exception and I’m happy that I did.Only down side, the trigger is momentary. You have to hold it down and that is fatiguing. I rigged a small disc with a zip tie to hold it. Hopefully future iterations will have a hold function.

The Ryobi power scrubber is a total disappointment. The worst problem is that the user must hold the power button in the entire time you are using the tool, and the power button requires a fair amount of constant finger-pressure to keep the tool turned on. Your finger will be exhausted after a few minutes. It's hard to believe they didn't make a 'constant-on' switch or easy pull trigger.Equally terrible, is the fact that the scrub head falls off of the tool constantly. This was new, right out of the box, so it's not a worn tool or anything like that. I have used the tool to clean lawn furniture, walks, house siding, washing car, windows, and my solar panels. I was pleased that it works well on all the tasks I have thrown at it and is not tiring to use, I would recommend the tool to anyone.

Good Idea, but..
28 September 2024

The concept is certainly good but the way Ryobi built this one leaves much to be desired. There is plenty of adjustability which is good. The battery compartment is well built and keeps the battery dry. Here is were it goes down hill. You must hold the power button for it to function. The pressure to do this is quite high. When moving the scrubber across a surface it is easy to let go of the button. I found that I could only hold it on for about a minute before my finger tired. I used the scrubber to help wash my RV but after about 5 mins, I put it down and went with a brush on a pole. Much faster and lighter to operate.

Good except for trigger
4 June 2024

Pros:o easy to assemble and useo intuitive adjustmentso love the multi-angle headCons:o needs higher RPM head and stiffer brusho terrible trigger mechanismDecent overall, but with 400sf deck and a shed, a corded option would have saved a lot of wasted time recharging. Would have taken less time if head spun faster and brush was stiffer. WORST trigger mechanism EVER: you have to press the button hard until your finger falls off; a squeeze trigger would have been much less painful

Incredibly poor design and low on power
7 August 2024

The unit is easy to assemble and that's the only positive I can name. Now for the not so good. Rhe power swith is in a very inconvenient location and rhe power button must be held down continuously. If you have a larger area to clean this wears you out quickly. The whole ergonomics are just plain off. Very awkward to use. The power put out at the head is not as strong as my electric toothbrush. This is only the 2nd Ryobi tool if returned. Whoever rated this more than 1 star must have been paid to do so.

Poor Switch Design
3 October 2024

Just received my scrubber and I am using it to clean my deck. One fault mentioned many times in the reviews is the switch design. I thought "how bad can it be?" and ordered it anyway. Well, the design is really bad. After a few minutes using it, my fingers were so sore, I had to stop. I thought about this for a while and decided I could come up with something better. With a couple of small pieces of wood, a clamp and a small rubber plug, I built a "whole hand" trigger that works perfect. Now I can use it as long as I like without discomfort.

So disappointed
2 April 2024

I have several Ryobi tools and mostly love them. I want to like the power scrubber, but can’t depress the power switch enough to keep it running, rendering it basically useless for seniors like me. I think Ryobi fails to consider those of us who are seniors or who have small hands. I have to ask for help when changing batteries on my other tools as my hands are too small. Now I can’t use the power scrubber. Come on, Ryobi, you can do better! If you can’t design an easier battery change system, at least develop a tool to help us do it. And work on the scrubber switch!

This brush works amazing for like 30 minutes and then it breaks. I've bought 3 of them the 2nd one I returned almost immediately because it was pretty much dead on arrival.I feel like the motor for the brush isn't built to withstand getting wet, and well it's a scrubber... so it's going to get wet. After exposure to liquid (not submerging) the brush itself starts to have a difficult time trying to spin, almost like the battery is dying, and it doesn't have enough juice. Now I have tried all different size ryobi 18v batteries, new ones, right off the charger ones, etc. Maybe the length of travel for the juice to turn the brush makes it so 18v batteries are undersized for this brush.I love ryobi products, but this brush is a massive miss from them, and I would ... MoreThis brush works amazing for like 30 minutes and then it breaks. Worst Ryobi tool out there
16 June 2024

Let me be clear - I love Ryobi tools and have pretty much all the major tools from their 18v lineup. This thing... is just so bad.Just like the other REAL reviewers report - the trigger button is mushy and awkwardly centered, requiring rock climbing fingers to keep running. This is made so much worst by a lack of a lock button. Almost every rotary tool Ryobi has, has a lock button.... and yet the weakest powered tool that you would require arguably the most time locked on, DOEASNT HAVE A LOCK?!?!?!On top of that it is so weakly powered that scrubbing is poor. Hopefully you see this amongst the sea of paid 5 stars.Ryobi... take the feedback and fix please!
