Sculpey III Oven-Bake Clay 2oz 10/Pkg Classic Collection

I am obsessed with polymer clay! I especially like making jewelry, key chains and wine charms. Normally, I buy the big 8lb boxes of white polymer clay and tint it myself, but when I need really bright colors, I like to use this assorted pack. Currently, I am making some rainbow themed jewelry and I am loving how bright and colorful my creations are! It is very soft and easy to work with and only needs a little bit of conditioning. Best of all, it NEVER dries out or becomes unusable. I leave my polymer clay sitting out on my craft table for days at a time. As soon as my kids were old enough to stop putting everything in their mouths, I switched them over from Play-Doh. It is perfect for preserving their little works of art. Caning, abstract art, pendants, endless love

I use this product for a lot of caning that goes into mounting clock faces, special pieces of jewelry that need to be sanded down, geez, clay building, caned bowls, I just go crazy with an electric pasta machine as a clay press. I love the easier to soften formula, that is saving my hands. The dye however is so strong that I would suggest caution while building! Doesn't come out of fabric!

Have bought this clay multiple times!

Sculpey III clay is fabulous! It's easy to shape and attach the pieces, and I love that it only needs to bake for a short time to harden the clay and preserve your creation.

I have bought this product again and again for over 30 years

I use this product to make Christmas ornaments. I have been using Sculpey III for over 30 years and do not use anything else. Not too hard, not too soft, NOT crumbly. Love it! #Sweepstakes

No shrinkage or post-work movement at all

This product is really nice, I can't believe I've been schlepping it with Staedtler Fimo Air Dry for this many years in my sold clay miniatures. This does not experience -ANY- shrinkage or movement after creation, so the state that you put it in the oven is the exact state it's going to come out. So many different clays out there, especially within brands which is very annoying-- but here finally landed on it. It's the one. I also really like that the instructions are really true. So many times with products, there's fudging of the manufacturer's instructions you have to do to get it right, but with this, you really do exactly what it says and it's all smooth sailing. The finished product is weighty. For my work, I'm going for that, weight is a plus. That product was literally unusable to me due to how light it is.

Sculpey III worked great

The Sculpey III worked very well with our Arts Alive (Summer Day Camp) kids. I had 1st and 2nd graders using the product to create a flower pendant and on a later day a marbleized bead. Once the "clay" had been worked a bit it, moulded easily into the shapes the students intended. Later the Sculpey 'baked' nicely and the kids were very pleased with the final product.Several adult volunteeres like th project enough they asked for a sample to try with their kids or grandchildren.

Wonderful product but easily breakable

This is a great product and I definitely recommend it! The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because when you bake it you have to be very careful with it because it's fragile. I bought a couple of these to try because I have never used them before and I needed a oven bake clay with a wide option of colors. I realized after I baked a small pendent that unless you are super careful, you shouldn't use this product for jewelry unless you have a metal base. Shortly after I made the necklace in the picture it's horn fell off which is a huge disappointment.

I bought this product almost half a year ago for making key chains and small sculptures with my friends and it is amazing! It is super easy to use and has the perfect kneadability; not too hard, not too soft. I have some clay still lying around and they are still kneadable! They are super durable once baked and can be stored very long before it starts hardening up. I recommend this 10/10 for people who are new to polymer clay!

Sculpey is one of my favorite polymer clay brands. It is easy to warm up and forgiving to work with. The colors stay vibrant and nothing shrinks when baking. If you've never used this type of clay before, be mindful the color rubs off and can discolor the next color slightly. It is most noticeable when going from a dark color to a light color. The pack is a great starter pack, a little goes a long way, and you can mix colors to get a new one. Highly recommend!

I bought this for making miniatures. It was my first time buying a sculpey set, and I'm really pleased with it. The clay is very, very soft, easily takes fingerprints, and it a bit sticky, so I may have been better off with Premo for making minis, but I'm happy nonetheless. :) Thanks sculpey!
