Not quite sure but F1 .4, otherwise pretty good

Heavy, solid, well built lens. Happy with my results but had the weather been better it might have offered more.

This lens impresses me to this day with its sharpness and build quality. The housing is made out of metal and the focus ring is sturdy rubber. It is quite heavy, but I like the feeling of it in my hands.

I ultimately replaced the 14-24 sigma lens with this lens. I like the minimalist design of the lens and the image quality. The autofocus function seems more responsive than the 14-24. The focal length at 1.4 is surreal and a major difference from the 2.8 on the 14-24. The only cons to this lens is the weight and the inability to use lens filters (which I don’t typically use) A UV haze filter is a nice bit of protection for your glass but overall a great all purpose prime lens that looks great!
I got this today, not from B and H BTW, I do buy from B and H just didn't this time. All of my test so far have been at 1.4, this was a big concern for me. I was astounded at the lack of blooming and how sharp and contrasty the image was wide open. This as many know is very rare in DSLR lenses. At $$this is a steal.
It's a great lens. Build quality is amazing. Glass produces amazing images. The only downside is you can't use filters on it and from what I've noticed, the images look a little soft at smaller apertures. But just a little, nothing crazy bad. Still not sure if I'm going to keep it, but for now its a great lens and perfect focal length for what I do.
Heavy but produces great images
Ok, yes it is heavy but it truly is a wide angle lens that is sharp and has very little barrel distortion common in wide angle lenses. I am using it on the Sigma SD and it is performing beyond expectation. I recommend this quality piece of glass.
The lens is built like a tank. You get that impression when the package arrives, before you see it. It's heavy, solidly built and feels very good in the hand (it's nearly as heavy as the 70-200mm F2.8). With a lens that heavy and well built, you'd expect it to have great picture quality and...it doesn't disappoint. I've used the lens professionally for real estate photography and expect to use it on other projects as well. It's bright, fast and wide—perfect for architectural, landscape and night skies (I experimented just one night with a few pictures and wow! It's awesome). I've experimented shooting wide open at 1.4 - 2.0 and didn't see a noticeable difference in sharpness, although I preferred shooting at around 1.8 - 2.0. I highly recommend it!
This is a fantastic lens for the Sigma Quattro SD H. The full frame equivalence is about 26 mm (H sensor has a 1.3 crop factor). Its a super versatile indoor lens and the speed lets me shoot without a flash. I can still shoot at ISO 200 or less which is the sweet spot for Sigma's foveon sensor.Little to no edge distortion. manual focus is easy with this lens too. Clear sharp images through out the f-stop range too. It works well with the Quattro SD H for landscapes and panoramic images.it's a bit heavier than expected but not unwieldy.
