After not having an electric frypan for years, I thought I would give it a go and see if it's improved. Well, it certainly has. It's fast and can get to a really hot temperature and nothing sticks. Awesome, love it and would recommend that everyone should give them another go.

Bought this electric frying while we are doing some kitchen renovation, I never owned one before, but its actually really good! completely non stick, quite big, and heats up very fast! very pleased with this purchase, I will def keep on using it even after the reno, and would definitely recommend!

We go through a frypan about every 12 months. The non stick surface usually starts to deteriorate within a few months no matter how careful we are in our cleaning. This frypan is doing the best we have seen. Hardly a mark after several months. Very happy.
We were looking for a square frypan but no one seams to make these anymore, so settled for the sunbeam. I am a bit disappointed in the fact that it does not seem to have an even heat distribution. Also the weight of the base is not as thick as my older square electric frypan. Unfortunately this new frypan doesnt get as much use as the the one I had previously.
Excellent frying pan. Good temperature control, cooks evenly very easy to clean very happy with my purchase. Good price. Good size for family needs. Would highly recommend recommend this pan to friends. Great present too.

As soon as I turned the frypan on it heated to the required temperature meaning that no time was wasted waiting for it to heat. There is a good variety of temperature settings for different meals. I found that the heat was evenly distributed throughout the pan resulting in the meals being cooked to perfection. In our previous unit, I purchased a Sunbeam Electric frypan because we didnt have an oven there. But we left it there when we moved. I remembered my Dads devotion to all Sunbeam appliances especially his electric frypan. We r going away for Christmas and will be without an oven there so seemed timely to make an early purchase. I researched other brands but Sunbeam seem to be highly recommended. Ive used it twice. Instructions said to heat it up on Medium. Whoops, didnt realise how hot Med would be and burnt my fingers taking the lid off. First lesson. My pumpkin was cooked and black in a short space of time. Potatoes were slower to cook but were fantastic. Second time, I cooked butterfly chicken and pumpkin with the temp only midway between Min and Med. Once again ... I would recommend this product to others as Im very happy with it.
My last frying pan lasted me over ten years, so I can only hope this one is the same. The non-stick is very good. It is a little patchy with the heat (hence the 4-star review). The heating ring is clearly visible and the food cooks faster on those parts. The temperature seems pretty.
I bought two SUNBEAM diamond force frypans for Christmas gifts. One of them was faulty and scorched badly first use. SUNBEAM say they have a 12 months warranty nut o not honour it,. The SUNBEAM customer service is absolutely appalling and highly inadequate for what used to be a reputable brand. Reading other reviews on other review websites I am far from the only customer who has experienced this. Never ever ever will I buy Sunbeam again because they have trashed their customer loyalty base and have no regard for providing a faulty product. Zero stars SUNBEAM if I could. Buyer beware.
