This toaster is a piece that helps update your kitchen from BLAH to YASS! we love that it lights up whenever we are using it and it gives a nice retro feel to the kitchen. Its good to match this with black kitchen appliances so thats what we did! It goes on every counter top! Recommended buy for sure and it looks like we are going to be using this for a long time. It feels sturdy and well built.

This toaster is not only beautiful in appearance but works very well so far. The only comment I would say is on the design of the toaster that around the top of the toaster where the stainless steel is, there is a groove that the crumbs can fall into which needs to be cleaned out every so often. There are 2 crumb trays that pull out which are not as solid as my last sunbean cafe 4 slice series toaster than I had for more about 10 years best one ever, I wish they would make it again!! But these are only small things I have noticed but other than that I am pleased with it so far it looks beautiful next to my jug and other appliances .AAAAA++++

We have the toaster and jug set in this style and they're both fantastic. They look amazing and they also have some great features. While your toast is down, you can push the slider up to check your toast (without having to cancel) and the dial allows for precise cook time. It has a light around the bottom of the toaster that turns on while toasting too which looks awesome.

This is a sleek and stylish looking toaster. I was looking for a black 2 slot toaster but liked the look of this one. Just as well I did because after about a year, one half stopped working so I can only toast 2 slices at a time. Not a problem for me but annoying just the same. It's good for thick slices although a little short and has basic functions: defrost, reheat and cancel. It's expensive at full price but reasonable when on sale. I would have recommended it if half of it hadn't stopped working but 1 year is too soon for a quality product to start acting up.
Two months in and I can tell you this is what a toaster should be. It is a sturdy toaster so you don't have to worry about it tipping should it get knocked. It toasts evenly across the bread and it does it relatively quickly. The light along the bottom while it's toasting and the general style of the toaster mean you can show it off when you have friends over rather than put it away after each use. The build quality is solid and the buttons and knob simply work. It has more heat settings than you will ever need, which means if you like very lightly toasted or completely burnt - whatever you're into, the toaster won't judge - you can have it your way consistently.TLDR: It works. And it looks good doing it.
We really like the looks of the Sunbeam New York collection and that is why we decided to spend this much on a kettle and a toaster. Aesthetically it looks great with lights glowing on the LED strip when in operation. But toasting is poor and uneven. I think the main function of a toaster is to toast and it is not doing that properly. Not sure if the unit that we got is faulty.At last I would say it is not a showpiece. A toaster should perform it's function properly and looks comes second. I'd be taking this to customer care for return.Happy with the kettle though
Not only does this 4 slice toaster ooze opulent luxury, but it has many functions to be just as clever and practical too! Wide slots to fit those thicker style breads, extra depth to cook the taller slices of breads evenly yet also having a high lift to remove toast easily without burning fingers or prying a slice of toast out. Plenty of toasting options to get the perfect cooked toast, and some fabulous feature lights to admire as it cooks your toast. This toaster looks great alongside my matching Sunbeam Jug Kettle. I am so happy with my purchase!
Such a stylish toaster, love the high rise and mid-toast check functions. The black with metal features matches beautifully with my newly renovated kitchen. The metal is a cross between brass and rose gold, very nice for my decor. Browns toast and crumpets very well. A lovely high quality product from Sunbeam.
A very stylish toaster that looks great in my kitchen. The features this toaster has enable me to cook the perfect toast, muffin or crumpet.I love this toaster it is very sassy the way it lights up as it cooks your toast.
Beautiful to look at as it sits all the time on my kitchen bench. It is easy to use and love the fact you can lift the lever to see if the bread is cooked to your liking and if not just push lever down and off it goes again. Compared to my old toaster it toasts the bread beautifully. Actually put a small piece of bread in it this morning and no problems where unfortunately in my old toaster a problem as I couldn’t get it out without turning off toaster and pulling it out. Love the look of it so I am now considering purchasing the matching kettle. Sunbeam chose a great name can’t go to New York so bring New York to your kitchen.
