A quality cat food that my cats love

I had tried the Prey Beef flavor in the past and my cats were OK with it. Then I recently brought home a couple free sample bags of the Turkey flavor I got from a local store and my cats went crazy over it. They wouldn't touch any of their other dry food so I was happy to see that Petco had the larger 15lb bag at a decent price. This is now my cats favorite food and it's made from premium ingredients.

This is the only packaged food (dry or wet) that doesn’t upset my cat’s stomach. It took several months of trial with dozens of brands and fresh home cooked foods. Who knew cats could have intolerance for both poultry and fish? It does have higher carbs than I would like and initially he gained a few pounds rather quickly, but we keep him active and the lentil fiber helps him stay regular.

Both cats love it and cleared their allergies!

I had a heck of a time finding a limited ingredient food for my cats after they both came down with chronic ear infections related to allergies to chicken meal. After trying 3 different foods they wouldn’t eat, they love this stuff! Both cats’ allergies have improved tremendously and have healthier shiny coats to boot! Couldn’t be happier with this switch.

Excellent

My senior cat King Puma Panther is allergic to chicken, turkey and all the junk they put in those possessed cat foods. So when I came acrossed website and found cat food and read the ingredients and bought it for King Puma Panther to try. Well, he loved it as well as everyone else.See cats are carnivores and they should be treated as such. There shouldn't be junk in any of there foods or foods colorings either. It's harmful to them too.

Healthy cats

Well, I personally do not know how it tastes, but I have been feeding my 4 cats this dry cat food for close to a year now. I bought it after much research trying to find minimal ingredients and keep my one red tabby from gaining so much weight. Prey has the minimum ingredients while meat is the first. They all love it, and I feel as a pet parent I am doing the best for them. I also feed it to the outside cat who comes around, and it has greatly helped his nutrition. I do supplement with a can of meat every day for all of them.

IBS Cat and Healthy Cats Love it
22 August 2021

One of our cats has IBS. She happily eats prescription cat food, but within 15 minutes of eating it, she repeatedly vomits violently.Taste of the Wild Prey Turkey has played an intricate part of saving her life. She is 12 years old now. There was a time I didn't think she would ever live this long. Using a liquid vitamin and antidiarrheal promptly at any sign of her IBS kicking up, along with her eating this cat food, has kept her in great shape. She seems like a 4 year old.The other 3 cats like it too. Having one cat food makes feeding them easy.

Prey beef working for cat w/poultry allergies!
27 January 2021

Our 8 yr. old domestic cat apparently developed an allergy to the prior (Iams) weight mgmt, chicken based, dry food he'd been eating for years and had licked all the fur off of his belly and was starting to lick the hair off a couple places on his legs as well. We tried different food brands, then tried a limited ingredient no chicken, turkey based, dry food (not Prey brand), however the licking / fur mowing with bald belly continued. Finally, about a month ago, we tried this limited ingredient Prey, beef based, dry cat food & his hair appears to be finally be fully growing back! We honestly don't know what all he's allergic to (chicken, all poultry, or other??), however whatever it is, it doesn't appear to be in this food - HOORAY! Compared to pre-allergy, his fur doesn't seem as super soft & shiny as it once was and he appears to have some minor dandruff, however this Prey, beef based, food seems to have stopped whatever uncomfort he had that was causing the fur mowing which was the problem we hadn't been able to solve. He seems to like the food well enough, although he doesn't totally devour it right after being fed like he almost always did with his old food. His now slower eating actually seems good because he used to occasionally (maybe 2-3 times/mo.) throw up right after eating and doesn't do that anymore (although his occasional hurling may have been caused by the allergy too - who knows). Anyway, so far, so good!!

Taste Of The Wild Prey Beef Cat Food

My Tonkinese loves this flavour. I needed to find him a limited ingredient diet with no 'fillers'. This food nailed it. He loved the beefy taste and I'm happy that it's good for him. Brought his house-clearing stinky poos right down.

Ying-Yang loves it
25 April 2022

Recently bought and tried this after going through multiple brands and types of food. He really loves it! Finally, a food he will eat and finally a peace of mind for me. I know he is getting the most out of eating this! He gets very excited for meal times. Loves to rub against me while preparing his bowl. He knows where I keep the food and meows at the cabinet to get feed for feeding times. thank you so much.

love the disc shape and ingredients
19 November 2021

All four of my cats love this food. I like that it is not the typical tiny pieces that they sometimes eat too quickly and "return". The size of the pieces are enough that they at least have to bite it once. It is hard to find a food without chicken as we have a chicken allergy in our house. I know manufacturers like to change their recipe and I really love this food and hope they don't with this one as everyone here loves it - including the human.
