Tefal Pro Express Protect Steam Generator Iron - 7.5 Bar, White & Blue / 560g/min

I have used a Tefal steam generator for the last 20 years and would never go pack to a standard steam iron. A replacement for my old one which was falling to pieces I am just as pleased this time round and the price of the refurbished iron was the best part.

Good product

Very good steam iron and it does seem that i get through my ironing a little quicker which is always a good thing! My only niggle is that the water tank is not very hand friendly.. it has a harsh edge.

Good steam generator

Replaced my old trusty Tefal steam gen after many years hard service. The new one feels a bit less well built however the upside of this is a much lighter iron which is a bonus for those of us with wrist issues. Only real downside is the lack of power cord storage!

Great Steam Generator Iron

Bought this to replace an old but brilliant Bosch Steam Generator Iron. It finally succumbed to scale blockage as they all seem to do. Bosch seemingly no longer make irons so Tefal was a choice recommended by Which. I have to say that it is excellent. The minimum of settings is great - just switch on and go - any material.

Great machine. Can’t fault it.

Great machibe. Up to the job. Good steam no splashes or dripping. Easy to fill. Lead tidies away. Could easily have been much more expensive. Buy it

Just as good but different

This was to replace an older tefal steam generator as it just stopped steaming . This is a bit different but getting used to it I didn't read the tank came off to fill with water and was a little sceptical but it’s all good it could do with a holder for the plug and cord but that’s because the old one had this amenity and it’s what I was used to

Loads of steam

Brilliant product. Plenyy of steam even on eco setting. Works very well on the fabrics i have trird so far. Heats up quickly and a really large water tank.

Not up to the job.

Nowhere near as good as my previous tefal steam generator. Because this one regulates it own temperature it is not so good on the heavier materials. I’m not talking very heavy material just your average thicker shirts, not even a thick winter shirt. It doesn’t produce enough steam really for a generator iron. On the whole it’s fair to say I am very disappointed with it.

Pro Express Protect GV9224 Anti-Scale Steam Genera

Love it! It's light to handle and easy to operate.It fits well on my ironing board. My last one was a Tefal but I prefer this one. I came home with two cases of holiday washing and wasn't looking forward to the ironing. |I still didn't enjoy it but it was faster.

Probably the best Steam Generator Iron, EVER!

Honestly, it’s amazing. We’ve gone through 2 different (well known) brand steam generator style irons during the last three years. I stumbled across this Tefal Steam Generator Iron, which was on special offer, and I decided to buy one - it’s the best decision I’ve made.The iron is lightweight with a button under the handle that you press to generate steam. The mainbase has a lock feature where you lock the iron in place to the base - the iron is now a carry handle!The steam generated is very powerful, I’ve drastically cut down my ironing time due to this little steam beauty.I would say that this Tefal Pro Express Protect GV 9224 is 100% times better than a Polti steam generator iron - we own one a few years ago, so we speak from experience.
