Therabody - Smart Goggles - Body Tool

The Therabody Smart Goggles are fantastic. They come in a stunning box with a case to keep them in. The smart goggles looks like an advanced piece of technology. They look very hi tech and daunting but are so easy to set up. I love that they fold up so they are compact enough to carry with me when travelling. The Therabody smart goggles come with a adjustable strap so I can ensure they fit me perfectly. They are super comfortable. The Therabody Smart Goggles are great when used with the App. You can use different programmes that change the vibration and heat levels. I love using it after a long day of looking at the laptop to help me destress and relax. There are 3 different modes and various vibration and heat settings. It felt soothing and deeply comforting, especially around the eyes. Very early days, but I’m pretty sure it’s even improving my under-eye bags and dark circles. The massage and vibration are also adjustable and when the googles mould to the contours of my face, the therapeutic effects are immediately noticeable. It's fascinating to see my heart rate drop after each session. These goggles have become an essential part of my daily routine and I'm excited to use them in new ways, e.g. for anxiety relief during my next travels/flights. They’re very portable and have great battery life. They’ve actually made me curious about other Therabody’s recovery products (e.g. compression boots) and I can’t wait to try those too.

Awesome! Smart goggles do what they claim

We bought the Smart Goggles for my daughter who is a colegiate athlete. In fact, we own most of the products in the Therabody product group. Power Dots, Leg boots, massage guns, all of the vibrating rollers and an Oura ring. One of the most important aspects of her great success is her ability to recover well. In addition to good body mechanical maintenance that the above mentioned products provide, quality sleep is above all the greatest factor in an athlete's tool chest for great recovery. So, when we recieved the notification from Therabody that they now were producing a sleep goggle that would help you sleep better, reduce stress and lessen headaches, we had great expectations that the goggles would work as well as the other Therabody products. Well...to our expectations, the Smart goggles work great. She puts them on before she goes to bed and they calm and relax her. Like all other Therabody products the are very easy to use. So as a review, we would recommend them as a recovery tool that does what it claims. They help relax you so you enter your deep sleep phase quicker and more comfortably. Better than an Aspirin!

The goggles are a great relief for those of us that suffer headaches on a frequent basis. The goggles are an amazing therapy method that provide relief thru the heat, vibration and for me particularly the massage aspect. The moment you take them outside of the box you will know they are a quality product, the material feels to have a quality build-feel, the underside plush has a very soft comfortable feel against your eyes, the cloth on the front of the goggles has a nice clean look to it. They do feel a bit bulky, slightly heavy but it is not an issue for me because i sue them when i am lying down so the weight and feel are not an issue. The heating aspect is suprisingly good, it heats up very quickly and there is a noticeable jump in the heat settings in between heat settings. The massage setting are for the most part pretty basic but the work performed on your temples does provide relief and it does get enough pressure to feel like a massage. The vibration aspect seemed to me to be the weakest part of the design, its just a basic vibration setting which makes more noise while operating as opposed to the relief it provides. Overall it is a very welcome addition for a stress headache or even right before, those that suffer from headaches can feel it brewing and i found these goggles help treat it before it kicks in and sometimes eliminates it from forming. I highly recommend it

Disappointing

I have had 3 eye massagers from different manufacturers. I'm searching for where ultimate one which will soothe, relax and massage my eyes. Unfortunately, this is not it.It looks great and filled me with hope and high expectations, but it has very limited programmes, doesn't fit particularly well and doesn't hold any charge in between uses. I have to charge it up before each use, which does away with the impulse usage.I would say this is the worst of the 3 eye massagers I have and I rarely use it, so I can't recommend this at all, regrettably.

Good features

I got these goggles to try as i suffer with sleepless nights they are perfect in every way with 3 settings with heat and vibration There are three modes to choose from too – SmartRelax, Focus and Sleep. SmartRelax gently massages your eye area with vibrations designed to quickly send you into deep relaxation. The Focus mode combines vibration and heat to ease tension between the eyebrows, while the Sleep mode massages the temples and delivers slow-wave vibrations to promote sleepiness. Im so pleased with it get a good nights sleep

Great Sleep and Relaxation Aide

The Smart Goggles from Therabody have been an amazing addition to my daily routine. They provide a fast and easy experience to gain relief and have really helped me get better sleep. To begin, everything that you need is included in the box: Goggles, USB C Charging cable and Carrying Case. Upon opening, they can be immediately put to use. There are 3 button on the top of the Goggles: Power/Mode, Vibration Intensity, and Heat Intensity. The controls have been pretty intuitive. Hold to Power on, press to cycle between the 3 different modes, and press for higher/lower vibration and heat. Speaking of modes, the 3 built-in ones are Relax, Focus, and Sleep. They each run for 15 minutes and can be customized using the buttons. In my opinion, the Smart Goggles are exactly what I needed. They truly give me relief and allow me to sleep much better. Because they are so easy to use, I'm more inclined to use these daily. If I had to critique these in any way, it would be that if you are wearing these in a dark room, the red light from the hear rate sensor can get a bit annoying. Overall, I would highly recommend the Smart Goggles and am very happy using them.

Rather Painful

I own a Theragun and use it on a weekly basis, it is perfect for in home use and so I was really excited to see the introduction of eye massage wear. I have tried these smart goggles a few times since the purchase and sadly they have resulted in increased headaches, really uncomfortable to wear. The focus setting pushed the eyeballs around and caused more pain than comfort. The noise is really distracting, I would sadly not recommend the tool.

Soft material covering my eyes and blocking out most external light is just what I need when I’m trying to get into relaxation mode. Overall, I really like the Therabody SmartGoggles, and am already using them to fall asleep faster every night.

Why has no one thought of these until now?

The smart goggle are a very SI-FI looking device which have a great build and excellent comfort, the inside area where your eyes sit is very soft and supple. The app integration is super easy , basically sign into you Therabody app and everything works. The smart goggles have 3 simple controls to help control the head/vibration and turning the goggles on and off, my only issue was at times with the power button. The power button doubles as a selection button for relax/recover/sleep profiles on the goggles and this didn’t always work perfectly. After using the goggles I did notice that my eyes felt refreshed, the best way I can describe what that means is when you put on a brand new pair of contacts. Everything looked clearer and when using them during work breaks I noticed that it reduced/removed my dry eye issue with contacts. The massage portion and the heat function on the goggles are very nicely tuned, I never felt as if it was too much pressure/heat on any of the settings. The feel of the goggles and the strap tension has been perfected so to not cause any pain or annoyance to any user. The app integration is very nice and clean, it helps you select modes to cater to the type of massage/relaxation you want. While the app is really nice and intuitive I did have one major complaint with the product and that is sound integration. The speaker/sound/instructions being offered by the app, since the goggles have no speakers, is coming from the phone so you would have to use in ear headphones to fix this issue. For a first generation product the goggles do mostly everything right and make me wonder why no one else has really even considered caring for the muscles around our eyes. I would highly recommend to someone that works on a computer all day or has issues with dry eyes.
