Thorne Research - Basic B Complex - 60 Capsules

I have struggled with energy and metabolism for a while. Have tried lots of B vitamins hoping they would help, only to end up with heartburn and a literal bad taste in my mouth. I had been using this brand for some other supplements so I decided to give Thorne a try in B vitamins. Pros: - One pill is a dose - Doesn't cause heartburn or upset stomach - Leaves no aftertaste - Helps with energy Cons: - Price - $25 - Must order online. I have never found this brand in the store. - Turns pee yellow This is by far my favorite B vitamin! I love that there is no aftertaste or heartburn. I have been using it for about six months now and definitely see improvement in my energy level.

Excellent! Helps balance your energy, and stops migraines

Those B complex bitamins really helped me to improve my overall health, energy levels and headaches. I didn't have a single headaches since I started using those pills daily.I take them every morning, together with my morning kefir, eggs and probiotics.The quality of the ingredients is exceptional, no fillers or nasty stuff. Great addition to my wellness routine

I had found myself ridiculously tired in the afternoons. After doing some research and chatting with my doctor and a nutritionist, we all came to the conclusion that I was probably lacking in vitamin B12. As a non meat eater, I find it hard to get all the B vitamins so I wanted to try a B complex. This pill is great! I love that it is a smooth capsule but still vegan/vegetarian. Many other options were huge hard tablets. That set it apart from my other choices. I have seen my energy improve and am experiencing less to no afternoon slumps.

Great methylated B-complex

I have MTHFR mutation and therefore find it hard to absorb vitamins that aren’t methylated. Methylated vitamins, like the ones in this Thorne product, are already in their active state” meaning the body can absorb them easier than those which are not. My blood work literally shows when I’m not absorbing my vitamins because I’m either incredibly deficient or that marker is sky high. This b-complex is far from basic! Thorne always has such high quality products, which minimal fillers. I take this once or twice a week, more if I’m incredibly stressed or sick. I find I get a subtle yet apparent lift in energy and mood the days I do take it. B-vitamins are our first defense to help our bodies function, mostly at a cellular level. Pricey but good.

First thing: it smells funky. I actually took the time to write to Thorne who confirmed that it actually is supposed to smell strong (the B vitamins apparently do this). Nothing wrong with the product or packaging- it’s perfectly normal and not a quality issue.Second thing; your pee will be NEON yellow. Again, those awesome but pesky B vitamins. You’ll feel great (they also have the effect of increasing wakefulness).Been taking this for about two months and I feel great. Because of the cost, I’d probably cycle it every month or two (I might just end up taking it once a week). Otherwise a great product that really makes me feel great!

Vitamin B is a win for me!

I have been trying to live a healthier lifestyle lately. However with an auto immune illness and this daily grind we call life, it is difficult to feel motivated and so easy to feel sluggish. While I have only taken this brand for a week now, I will say that I have added energy and feel great after taking each dose.I have been going on bike rides and taking a daily walks again and still feel refreshed after doing so. Sometimes supplements have made me feel queasy, however I have not noticed it with this brand. I will note that the vitamin oder is strong and may linger on your hands for a bit after touching the pills. I will definitely purchase this item again and would love if they developed a liquid version!
