Tom Ford Black Orchid Eau De Parfum Set

I love the warm notes of this fragrance, it gives class and smells of a quality brand. In my opinion, it's more of a night/evening scent that will capture passersby's attention and leave a lasting impression. Also, this is Eau de Parfum, which means it has some staying power. I was so happy to purchase this set (with the included travel-size spray for the win) from SaksFifthAvenue.com at a holiday discounted price, which was great because Tom Ford can be a bit pricey. I'm so happy to add this to my collection of perfumes. Black Orchid is a purchase you won't regret, particularly for a special occasion!

The first time I smelled the Black Orchard perfume was through a beauty magazine at a ShopRite. When I smelled it I was totally captivated by the smell that I hate to admit this on this review but I tore the page off and couldn’t stop smelling the scent on the page. All time favorite!

Came packaged well without incident. TF's Black Orchid might not be for everyone as it a strong scent but for me, it is hands down the longest lasting fragrance I have found with a depth unmatched. A splurge but a little goes a long way. I am big on scents and gravitate towards earthy, masculine smells so this is right up my alley but with a big twist. My husband pretty much never comments on perfumes because I wear so many different kinds however this one he notices every single time which is saying something. If you want a bold, unique scent, try this- especially during the winter months.

Black Orchid Fragrance "Tom Ford"

Terribly disappointed! Fragrance didn't last past 2 hours upon spraying it to my body.Same with the purse size that came with it as a promotion from theNordstrom anniversary sale. Unfortunately I drove a long distance to make the sale and now we'll have to turn around and go back a long distance to return it.I've been buying this lovely fragrance "Black Orchid by Tom Ford " since it first came out sometime around 2007 ish .Fortunately this is the second time only that this has happened.

For the people giving it a bad review…

Let’s be honest, the scent is not for everyone. If you think it’s smells bad on you.. sorry to say it’s actually just your body chemistry. To be fair, i can imagine the dislike for this perfume to be how i feel about therry muglier alien its just a no on me and on others. But if your pheromones are sweet it will definitely go with your chemistry. Its a mix between vanilla, subtle patchouli and a little bit of smoke. Delicious during the colder months and only worn by the bold during the summer. Sample it, you may like it.

Good Night Perfume

I'm sure everyone has said that this is a good night perfume a million times. This is my first TF perfume, and in fact, I've actually only had a few perfumes over the course of my life but I decided to start a collection. I'd figure it would make my at home life more exciting. I think I smelled this in the store but maybe not but I was definitely just attracted to the name, so gothic and I knew I wanted to dive into Tom Ford but not something too masculine. I also liked the bottle, I didn't want some ridiculous bottle with a weird shape. When I took it home I felt on the fence. The first spray smells like liquorice, then it is very masculine but it becomes feminine as it dies down. I wore it out in the day and felt odd. May not be authentic or tampered with Buyer Beware

This item my not be authentically ligament. For those who have bought Tom Ford products before there is a batch number printed on bottles and same batch number printed on packaging. And for whatever reason this review is not allowing me to upload pics, but customer service received pics and not addressed this problem appropriately. This happen to be an Anniversary gift for my wife. This was an online order I live in a small town without adequate shopping nearby and the closet Macy's 120 miles from me. Receiving it the same week as an Anniversary no time to replace it with something of equal value. Stunning Fragrance

This is a gorgeous fragrance very deep a sexy great for a night out and winter days. I don’t find much difference between using the eau de toilette and eau de parfum just that the parfum sticks around longer. This is a really nice gift for someone who likes more sophisticated fragrances not too sweet, I don’t know anyone who doesn’t like this fragrance. I also find with Tom Ford Fragrances you don’t need to use much so it lasts a long time. The set is good value for money, the 10ml is free. Such a good gift.

Took a few minutes before I could appreciate it

I was a bit apprehensive because of the reviews I’ve read about this being strong—I usually use D&G Light Blue, Y by YSL, and I have used TF Neroli Portofino—which I loved and all are relatively on the lighter end of the note spectrum. Black Orchid seemed the exact opposite, but I wanted a warmer scent for the wintertime. Let me just say, the first few seconds were a mild shock. It seemed SO strong and I thought I had made a big mistake since I was not used to fragrances being that rich and poignant. I didn’t learn to appreciate it until maybe 30-45 minutes later after it dried and had time to settle. That’s when the very rich, but subtle notes of Orchid really made an appearance and I really grew to love the scent. Where's the Scent?

My first Tom Ford Parfum purchase. The notes are nice at first sniff and then it dissapates. After applying and adding some extra on fabrics, the scent is not one that is memorable or noticeable. I tried to wear it 3 times and each time, the scent faded quickly. Maybe with a layer of Black Orchid lotion, it would show better, but it's definitely more of a intimate parfum where someone's nose is all over your skin. I felt like I forgot to put on parfum before I left the house. Just no, no, no, and no, unless you drown yourself in it. Maybe then.....
