Ubiquiti USW-LITE-16-POE UniFi Switch Lite 16 PoE

If you're after a 16 port gigabit switch with POE+ then this is perfect at 2/3 the price of the full rack-mount size options , however, it's power budget is 1/3 of those but plenty for a WiFi AP and a few cameras. As for it being a paperweight, it does appear to be parallel imported with a US power cable but a new cable (if you don't have one lying around anyway) costs all of $3 - hardly a paperweight! Currently out of stock so may not be coming back, a shame. Hopefully there'll be a NZ version soon.

Came in handy when I really needed it

Scorptec had stock when nobody else did. I was in a real bins because I needed a Poe switch and I didn't want to diversify my network vendors. Skorptec saved me from having to do that and shipped out fast

Cheap 16 port Unifi

This expanded switch provides more than enough ports, eight POE outlets, and a perfect starting point for a home layer 2 switch. The next step up is the enterprise 24 port switch which is more than twice the price. For a straight up gigabit network, it's worth paying extra for some extra ports at the main switch

Easy to setup

I use an old Cisco switch that only support up to 100 Mbps. So, I recently upgraded my internet speed to 400 Mbps, and I need 3 POE ports for three devices (2 APs and UCK G2+). This is perfect fit for my situation along with 6 directly connect devices. I find the mobile app to be more useful to setup the device compare to the web UI. The only issue I have is configuring a trunk port and link aggregation; maybe just me come from Cisco CLI environment. Con: - There's no rack mount hardware included, only wall mount hardware.

Great compact switch for SME applications

Deployed a UniFi network with this and the Ubiquiti Dream Machine. This having PoE is great, especially for this price point.

Great little switch

Despite the description, this switch is NOT rack mountable and does NOT have a rack kit. It has a good little bracket for wall hanging. Of course, you could place this switch on a shelf mounted within a rack, but that's not rack-mounting it.

Great product

As usual, Ubiquiti has not let me down. This switch was easy to add to my existing network. I needed more ports to wire the remaining rooms in the house and this was everything I needed.

Great switch

Powerful switch, no POE injectors needed. It was a little painful to get the unifi controller to show the correct topology but thats not a problem with the switch.

Unifi 16 port POE Switch

Excellent product again fron Unifi. Upgraded to this 8 port POE and 8 port data, total 16 ports, from my two other 8 port switches, also from Unifi. Nice texture and white color, with cool lookin network lights at 1Gbps. Yes, 1Gbps with Xfinity or ting, makes the home faster than the office, even over wifi. Easily managed, and small footprint next to cable modem. Solid product, and happy with adding it to my LAN.

Works flawlessly

Works flawlessly. Powers 8 cameras with no issue and solved an issue where the previous switch was constantly dropping connections and having to be reset. Very pleased with the purchase and worth going with a reputable name brand product.
