Weber - Cover Kettle 57cm

The cover is made of decent quality fabric. It's a great fit for the kettle grill. HOWEVER, and this is why I give it 4, not 5 stars, one Velcro strip does NOT keep it from blowing off. I was sad when I thought that it was lost to the weather, and happy when I found it down by the creek. Moral of the story - don't trust the Velcro.

The weather smoker grill is classic. It never disappoints it always gives great smoke flavor to any food. I got a package of different smoked woods for my experience. It’s very well-made very strong steel I expected the last 58 years at least I can’t wait to start cooking and cooking and cooking.

Good product but it took way longer than the suggested 35 minutes to put together. Also terrible customer service as I am still trying to get a replacement part that had the pre drilled holes drilled incorrectly. Calling the toll free number was useless as once I got to talk to a real person ( after a 20+ minute wait) he put me on hold and never came back after another 25 minutes)

Cover fell apart just being outside

I bought this cover a year or two ago. A recent normal winter storm rolled through and the cover basically disintegrated! Hoping I can get credit to replace with something sturdier. I do not recommend buying this cover unless you store your grill inside, in which case you likely don't even need it.

That being said, the material is quite thin, and I think it will need to be replaced within a few years. I am in Hawaii, where most things do not last long. The UV combined with salt in the air, along with fairly frequent rain and wind will likely wear this cover down rather quickly. I have it in a partially covered area, which should allow it to last a little longer. Weber makes a heavier-duty cover that would be the better choice, but my Home Depot doesn't carry it (or I didn't see it.) If your grill will be fully exposed to the elements, I would suggest getting the heavy duty cover, even though it's twice the price. It just works. It's easy to set up. The design is excellent, making it easy to control airflow. One chimney of lump charcoal with the lid closed and vents wide open will reliably bring the temperature to between 400-500 degrees F. The premium model is the sweet spot. Having the ash catcher is extremely helpful and safer as embers and hot coal fragments are less likely to escape. The lid holder hook is a little bit challenging to use, but gets easier with practice. The "master" upgrades are nice, but not necessary- including an insulated handle for the top vent and an easier lid holder.The only thing to consider is the price, which recently has been extremely unstable lately, and may change the value proposition between models on any given day.

Simple cover for a simple grill

I wanted something inexpensive to cover the charcoal grill at work in between get togethers. This worked perfectly, fits the original kettle grill, and stays put even on windy days. I'm interested to see how it holds up to weather compared to the black cover which was much more expensive than this one.

Terrible Design

Hard to belive this is a Weber product. I’m guessing its outsourced junk they threw a label on. The “cover” fastens to the grill with one lonely piece of velcro. This allows any gust of wind to come in under the other side and lift the “cover” off of the grill and leave it exposed. Then the lid flies off. And you walk out in the morning to see the “cover” puddled at the base of the grill — still clutching by its one lonely piece of vecro. Unbelievable. Recommend only if you store your grill inside the garage!!

Very Poor

I bought this thinking Weber products were top drawer. Wrong! It's flimsy. It has one velcro tab to attach to the grill. One small gust of wind- it was blown down the garden! Tied it to the leg- scratching the chained in the process and still blew off - billowing around the grill. Don't buy - rubbish! And nearly £40. Don't bother!!

Would never recommend this cover

If you purchase this grill cover thinking because it has the Weber name on it, it will be better quality than any other cheaper grill cover, think again. I made that mistake, and won't make it again. Not even two years after purchase, it has numerous rips and tears, from pure fabric degradation, rendering it unusable. The velcro strap is really useless for holding the cover on in any windy situation; so be prepared to have to rig up ties of some kind to keep it on. When a well-known brand puts their name on a product, you don't expect to have these issues, particularly this soon after purchase. I would never recommend this cover.
